PRANJALDAS –
My first big smart TV.
Pros –
1) Sound is loud and clear. Good job on that front by Acer.
2) eARC port – Great for connecting home theatres which support eARC connectivity.
3) Liked the remote. Very nice form factor.
4) Cheap – got it for 33,000/- during sale.
5) Voice commands well.
Cons-
1) Terrible picture quality.. The blacks are so dull that you don’t get the desired joy of watching TV. Friend has a Sony and the difference is markedly visible.
2) Sometimes the volume doesn’t change even after doing so on the remote. Once it went on standby and the volume froze, had to restart it to hear audio again.
3) Connected a pen drive once to watch ‘Sisu’ and after removing the USB the picture quality became grainy suddenly, even on Tata Sky.
4) Slow app loading.. But this problem exists on most android TV’S so I guess this is understandable.
All in all, the crisp picture quality which I wanted didn’t meet my expectations. My next tv will be from Sony even if they cost 2x of this brand. Best wishes to Acer for their future.

Parental control is missing in this TV

I bought an Acer H series 43 inch TV from amazon. Timed delivery. Delivery staffs open the box and show to me that no damages in the product. After 24 hours, from my near by town, service staff from Acer TV service call me for instllation and demo. They come next day morning, and install the tv and fix ethernet and cable tv connection to the TV.
picter quality is 4K, it is crystal clear.
sound is adequate for the hall, but, bass sound is not enough.
remote works well,
no log. works properly

I am writing this review after one of purchase and usage of the TV.
Merits:
1. Picture quality is outstanding, DOLBY VISION is real. You can experience the high class 3D theatrical view.
2. TV user interface is simple.
3. It has all the basic TV features and Andoid TV features
4. I used Youtube, Amazon prime and Disney hotstar which are good and user interface is very nice.
5. We can play playstation games
6. Wifi is excellent.
Demerits:
1. Sound quality is not upto the mark. Though spec indicates DOLBY ATMOS, i dont feel it. Sound is only decent.
2. Very poor remote. It works too slowly, even if you mute or alter the sound, it will take atleast 5 seconds to respond.
3. Voice control is very bad, it needs improvement.
4. In product spec it is mentioned as Camera is available, but nothing like that, we need install external web cam to access camera related features.

The media could not be loaded.
The acer does true justice to its speaker, I got this 60w one and truly the sound doesn’t break even at high volumes, sound was one of my primary concern in my purchase for listening to endless music.
Picture quality is also quite good, does justice to 4k hdr resolution, the pieces doesn’t burst and the screen is visible as the same from front as from different angles as well.
Being an android tv just like android phones there’s a lag issue, minor though, switching between apps and option like pausing the video can show a lag of 2-3 sec.
Rest the 3 yes warranty gives a certain on longevity of product and it’s care for long duration.
Worthy purchase for 26k 🙂
