I’m totally in awe of it. This monitor from Acer has exceeded all my expectations in terms of quality and value. I’ve ordered it after a lot of research, and reading reviews online. Though I was still hesitant and was doubtful, but this Acer monitor turned out to be worth the time and money I spent in researching and buying it. This review is lengthy, but please read through it completely so you can make a right decision.
To start with, it has a beautiful 54.61 cm (21.5 inch) Full HD IPS panel with 8-bit colour depth, lots of features and 6 picture modes. The monitor has excellent viewing angles and no bleeding edges. The display is beautiful with vibrant colours. Brightness is 250 nits, which is great considering it’s price and value it offers. The monitor has very thin bezels on either sides which make the monitor look wider. Also, this monitor has a refresh rate of 75 Hz and response time of 4 ms GTG, which means it can deliver some good graphics in gaming as well. There is an inbuilt webcam and two inbuilt 2 Watt speakers which are just usable and produce some decent sound but not loud enough to enjoy a movie. I have connected my Portronics POR-871 SoundDrum 4.2 Stereo Speaker, which produces great sound, and the experience is too good.
The monitor has all the ports one would require to connect with multiple devices like PC, Laptop, etc. It has a VGA port, 1 HDMI port, 1 Display Port, Audio In/Out ports and 3 USB 3.0 ports (1 on the bottom panel and 2 on the right side of the monitor) which work as a USB hub when connected to the PC/Laptop with provided cable. Surprisingly, Acer has included all the necessary cables in the box, along with monitor stand and a power cord. Acer has included 1 Display port Cable, 1 VGA Cable, 1 AUX cable and a USB cable which activates and converts the 3 USB 3.0 ports as a USB hub. I’ve connected my keyboard to the USB port at the bottom panel of monitor and using the 2 USB 3.0 ports on the right side of monitor to connect my external SSD and pen drives which perform high speed transfer and smooth media playback. There is also a power on/off switch at the bottom panel. It is also VESA Mount Compatible (100 x 100).
And to top it all the monitor has tilt, swivel and height adjustment.
Trust me people, I have researched a lot, brands like LG/Samsung/Dell don’t offer a 22 or 24 inch monitor with these many features and accessories at this price point. Kudos to Acer and thanks to Flipkart for bringing this quality value-for-money product to their customers.
I’m completely satisfied with this Acer (B227Q) 21.5 inch Full HD IPS Panel Monitor and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a Full HD IPS monitor that is not just good at multimedia/photo-video editing but also for casual gaming.

This looks like a great piece . The most advanced monitor in its category. The question is what is not brought in. Almost all input signal options auto selection available.
The model I got even have an HD web cam. which I am yet to use. The burden of attaching a multimedia speaker is eliminated. It has two watts speakers. For me that sound is okay for most of the purposes. If you want to connect play movies songs and more sound then think about additional things.
The clarity of the monitor is something extra ordinary. Watch Bahubali 2 or Mission impossible 6.
USB 3.0 of your computer is extended to the monitor through a cable connection. More devices can be connected through the monitor itself. Looks great. plugging in and out frequently may not be so easy .
The OSD is a marvelous one. A few buttons and a joystick like button. Easily accessible from the front. built in themes and user settings allowed.
What else a ll cables except the HDMI was supplied . I forgot to tell about the earphone jack. Yet to test. But it has been provided.

Its mounting on a base and height adjust of the monitor is something commendable.
For the money I paid it is worth. Three years warranty also.

The monitor is good but with one glaring problem. The display is not true 8-bit, it’s 6bit+FRC which means the rest of the bits are produced through software to trick your visuals. Now the problem with this is that you will notice banding rather than smooth gradients in images. At this price you are not getting the best display quality you can get. Other than that the colors are pleasant and the monitor is very flexible, and 75Hz is great. The banding is especially noticeable in static images so I won’t recommend this for photography/graphics professionals.

the only cons i found to quote are that there is no hdmi cable with this product and the speaker quality is not highly satisfied.. but they dont matter as the provide VGA, DP, AUX Cables along with the power cord.. and also i think the professional who using this monitor never go for a built in speaker.. so both are negligible.. but the amazing fact is that i got the product with a price which is 39% less than the MRP(7999)… You cant find any other model with these features and size at this price.. it is a beauty too with sleek design…

This is called luck. I was looking for such product and i got this acer 21.5 inch professional monitor for just Rs. xxxx unbelievable….zero frame ..compact….strong built 5.1 kg. may 2018 manufactured and import from china.Best features…gorgeous display ..full hd 1920×1080p at 75 hertz.great viewing angles….no dead poxels or backlight bleeding smooth matt surface…1 hdmi 1 dp 1 vga. 2 usb 3.0 left side.1 usb 3.0 down. one webcam top can be closed woth a shutter… 2 plus 2 watt stereo speaker .. excellent….Best part what i like is its height adjustment..tilt function and pivot function…such monitor is to be made…very strong base…not wobbly….nice packaging by flipkart …one 3.5 mm male to male cable…..love to use this monitor…….i was so lucky to see this in offer…..even at ten thousand it will beat any 21.5 inch ips monitor in the market…thanks omnitech retail . Awesome monitor… I was waiting from long time to purchase n finally I got it. Superb ultra edge display with good colour reproduction. It is a great choice bcz it has 75hz refresh rate, inbuilt speaker which is great for system notification & USB 3.0 hub (Need to connect with cpu via provided Usb cable).

This is one of my best purchases ever.. Can’t believe I got it for Rs. 6800 on offer.. With the features it has it can easily sell for 13k+.. This is a very good all-rounder..
