It is a good machine, but with some drawbacks.
While gaming, you can feel the heat as the exhaust vent is opened towards the display, the screen itself gets a bit hot. Again the temperature would not affect the screen. But you can feel the warmth on your finger tips on the keyboard while gaming. It feels a bit uncomfortable.
I have played GTA 5, Minecraft, valorant and Palworld in it. The performance it gives is as per the expectation. It performs what it should be.
There is no tweak, the RTX 2050 is of 50watt TGP. Sometimes it goes to 55watt.
It has plenty of ports, and as per a gaming laptop the battery life is quite impressive. I have not tested it properly but for normal use, it gives around 4 hours of screentime. I will share the actual battery backup once i test it properly.
It comes with some software pre-installed so, please uninstall them just after the setup or your resources will be eaten by them.
Here are some numbers on games, will add more once tested.
GTA V – Very High – 70-80fps
Minecraft – fancy – 110-120fps
Valorant – high – 120+ fps
I have checked Cinebench R23 and i got the score as below, ( 10 minutes run time )
Single Core – 1050
Multi Core – 8800
I have seen this CPU scoring a 10,000+ score, but as there are some applications installed which are using some cpu power, i am getting a little bit lower score.
Note – i have the 8GB RAM config model. If more ram added performance will boost accordingly.

Good product, don’t be carried away by some bad reviews, this is a gaming laptop so don’t expect a very good battery and even if it had one the battery consumption would be high due to graphic card. The graphic card performance is decent (Value for money tho) you get around 50-60 fps in warzone (ultra settings + dlss (ultra) ) and around 55-65 in PUBG basically it can run all tripe A title games in playable fps but don’t try ray tracing tho. Make sure you install the game ready driver from geforce experience. GPU wattage is 55W btw and cpu is also good the i5 12th gen is a really cool processor but expect some bottlenecking due to the graphics card. Also go with the 16gb version since lot of games crash due to insufficient RAM.
All info needed for you:
Gaming [Good]
Productivity [Excellent]
Portability [Good and is lightweight]

1. Well gaming laptops don’t have long battery life that’s for sure.
2. Although the screen is bright enough, but an anti glare display along with these brightness would have been better.
3. We have to plug in the charger to be able to play high end games like gta v, AC series, RDR 2, Battlefield Series, COD series etc. GTA V in 1080p setting gives around 60 fps on average, other games gives e.g, RDR2 on medium settings 40fps, Valorant high settings 80-100 fps.
4. Well I have to give props to the metal build. And design is minimalistic which is good for me. Backlit keyboard is another plus point, at these price range it’s obvious to provide with one.
5. It doesn’t come with free Microsoft 365, you have to keep that in mind. There are other option like WPS office.

I recently got my hands on the Acer Aspire 7 Core i5 12th Gen A715-76G Gaming Laptop and I must say, it’s been quite the experience. The laptop’s powerful Core i5 12th Gen processor paired with 8 GB RAM ensures smooth multitasking, even with demanding applications.
The inclusion of a 512 GB SSD significantly enhances loading times and responsiveness, which is crucial for gamers and professionals alike. Windows 11 Home adds a sleek, user-friendly interface to the mix.
The real star here, however, is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 graphics card. With 4 GB of dedicated graphics memory, it handled modern games with ease, delivering crisp visuals and smooth frame rates. The laptop’s cooling system deserves a mention too, as it effectively maintains optimal temperatures even during extended gaming sessions.
The design is sleek and professional, making it suitable for both work and play. The display is sharp and vibrant, making for an immersive viewing experience.
One drawback could be the 8 GB of RAM, which might feel limiting for heavy multitaskers or those working on resource-intensive projects. However, this can be upgraded if needed.
In conclusion, the Acer Aspire 7 A715-76G is a commendable gaming laptop that doesn’t compromise on performance. It strikes a balance between power, portability, and affordability, making it a strong contender in its category. If you’re looking for a reliable workhorse for gaming or productivity tasks, this laptop certainly deserves consideration.
