This is the best gaming laptop under 1.5 lakh. If u want to spend more than this on a laptop just build a PC.

I bought this laptop from Acer website one month ago at 1.51 lakh including 2 year extended warranty.

    The Pros:
    1. Display: The WQXGA display is beautiful. My unit does not have noticeable backlight bleeding. Colors look vivid. For media consumption, it will satisfy most people’s demands. The 16:10 aspect ratio makes the display look bigger and taller and I do prefer taller displays than wider ones. While starting a game, the display mode changes from Optimus to Nvidia Only and it takes some 2 to 3 seconds to switch which is a bit annoying to me. (9.5/10)

    2. CPU: I did some benchmark testing and the 13700HX performed quite good. I got around 21k to 22k in Cinebench R23 in turbo mode. I haven’t run any heavy softwares on it but they should all work just fine. Obviously, it handles daily tasks smoothly. (10/10)

    3. GPU: I never saw the RTX 4060 go above 100 watt. It easily gives smooth, playable FPS in highest settings. I haven’t tested ray tracing yet. And yes, it is a bit slower than 3070Ti but you won’t notice it. But the point is that 4060 does what 3070Ti does in 2/3 power the 3070Ti uses. (9/10)

    4. Thermals: Idle Temps around 45-50 degrees. During long gaming sessions, this laptop runs cool, by laptop standards. The very first time I heard its fan noise at highest levels, I legitimately thought this sh*t was going to take off. (10/10)

    5. This laptop has more than enough I/O ports, a good keyboard, a smooth touchpad and good build quality. The unboxing experience was premium too.

    6. Battery: I use the laptop while plugged in only. So, I haven’t tested it properly for backup. But you should expect 3 to 4 hours of battery life.
P.S.: PLEASE DON’T PLAY GAMES ON BATTERY. YOU WILL RUIN IT!

    The Cons:
    1. Speakers: They are shockingly bad. The volume is low. I cannot hear anything below 70% volume even after tweaking all the settings. For this reason, I have a 10 watt speaker always connected to this laptop. I am not even talking about gaming because during gaming, the fan noise pretty much eliminates full speaker volume. My 7 year old laptop has much better sounding speakers, both in terms of volume and bass. (3/10)

    2. Camera: I am convinced that people with gaming laptops don’t deserve good quality cameras. It is downright terrible. Cannot control light, has lot of noise and the overall image quality just sucks! Microphone is average. (3/10)

    3. Bugs: It has some bugs here and there. The desktop screen becomes unresponsive sometimes(Thanks to Windows 11). I have also seen higher ram usage than I like to see. The system modes, too, sometimes don’t get activated in one click. Hopefully, updates fix these minor problems.

    4. The 330 watt fat-a** charger seems little too big for the power requirement adding unnecessary weight.

    5. Given the price of this laptop, per-key rgb lighting should have been given for that extra customization. Also, the bios doesn’t have all the options that we see on Asus or MSI laptops.

I think this is a great laptop, except the speakers, considering the options in this price range. And I would definitely recommend it if your budget allows. I will update the review after I test ray tracing.

P.S.: I figured out what the engravings on the laptop mean. The one on the top left means SEEKOUT. Those on bottom left mean PREDATOR HIDEOUT. The left side is still a mystery.

The machine is a beast. Makkhan performance in video editing, playing best gaming titles at Ultra settings.
Caution: There is lag though at start-up and when you click on the right corner pane to access the Bluetooth and other settings but I guess it’s a Windows 11 thing. Will wait for the magical update that will fix it. Because my HP Envy 360 boots up to main screen under 6 seconds and this laptop is taking twice the time.

Other than that it’s an absolute beast.
