There is a tiny switch that detects if the pot is inserted; which is made of a thin wedge of plastic. The pot itself, is quite tight, so needs a little effort to pull out every time, and the switch broke the first time I pulled out the pot. Same thing happened again with the replacement unit.
And once that breaks, the unit does not operate at all! What a huge design flaw!!
Such a critical component should have been built sturdier. Probably of metal than such brittle plastic.
