I am using it for a week. It seems original as my previous charger. Papers are with the package. Charging power is also fine. But it get heated when put in charge

I bought this adapter as a replacement for the original MagSafe 2 Adapter which was supplied with my Macbook Air. It arrived in a sealed box and while the adapter itself was mint and scratch-free, the Magsafe 2 connector had some minor scratches on it, which is unacceptable, considering the price of the product. I’m unsure if these scratches happened as a result of packaging and transit but it’s safer to buy these from the stores where one can open the package after making the payment and get an immediate replacement, if unsatisfied. I could have sought a replacement from Amazon but since the scratches are minor and limited to the connector and the adapter itself is working perfectly, it didn’t seem really worthwhile to pursue this further. Zoom in on the attached photo for a close-up which reveals the marks on the connector.

I’m not sure if this happened bcz of this charger but after starting to use it, my macbook air 2015 battery started acting crazy. Sudden big drops in battery % and also while charging the % gets stuck for long time.
This shouldn’t have happened considering i bought the exact wattage charging adapter for my model.

The item is not correctly advertised. It is not compatible with Macbook Air 2022 M2. Amazon will not accept a return
