I have had these headphones twice before, they are great for someone like me who can’t be trusted with wireless buds but don’t want a wire to connect to my phone.
However I ordered these and found that they have changed the charging cable/slot, one of the major perks of these before were that I could charge using my iPhone charger, note that they don’t supply a plug so unless you have new apple device plugs -which a lot of them don’t come with anymore- you won’t be able to charge it as it is not a standard usb cable.
Other than that these headphones are great, great sound, great for running, my first pair died I think because they got too much sweat/water in them maybe running in the rain so be wary they are not waterproof.

I bought these to solve a problem that I have with wireless necklace type in ear headphones.

I normally purchase sony Sony WI-XB400 or Sony WI-C310 models (I lose my headphones often) and have been perfectly happy with them for a long time now.
One major problem I have come up against recently with the sonys is that they use a cheap Bluetooth wireless module which causes occasional drop outs and disconnections when my phone is in my pocket and also add’s a delay to the audio when watching videos on my mac making the voices out of time with the picture which is infuriating and makes watching content almost impossible to do.

So I bought these Beats as they are apple owned and worked better with my mac, iphone, ipad etc..

If i didnt need the better connection I would have happily stayed with the Sonys at half the price. They sound better and are just better headphones in almost every way. Especially the WI-XB400.

If you are open to advise, If you can put up with the occasional issues I have stated above, go with the sonys instead. The battery lasts far longer on both models of sony listed above (the beats say upto 12 hours but I am charging these beats every night, the sonys used to last me 3-4 days) And the sonys sound at least as good and in the case of the WI-XB400 model, far far superior in bass response and battery life.

Shouldn’t have happened to anyone. But it happened. I had the earphones in my pocket, it was mistakenly put to wash in washing machine. Machine did its job, i took out the cloths to dry. It was shocking to see my beats earphone pepping out of my wet cloth’s pocket. I dried the earphone in hot sun. After few hours I switched it on. Audio was fine. But I was not able to switch off. Again after few hours it jus started working fine like before. Absolutely will recommend beats!!
