Very good product for moderate home use like online classes, browsing, etc. Most of the apps are available either from the Chrome Store or Play Store so you won’t feel any lack of useful apps. It is not built for heavy work so keep that in mind. Boot time and shut down time is just awesome, only a few seconds.\n\nTouch screen is a bonus and the flip form factor is really good. Please note that if you install WhatsApp from the Play Store and set up, it will stop working on your phone. So better to use web version. \n\nOnly aspect for improvement is that eMMC should have been at least 128 GB and sound quality is on the lower side.\n\nEnd of life (software updates) is June 2026.\n\nOverall, a good product for people who spend most of their time online and need a light weight 2nd laptop.

Overall a good product from ASUS. Hope it proves reliable in long run.\n\nPros: \n1. Complete VFM. The main purpose of buying this is for online class and it serves the purpose well. \n2. Touch screen is awesome.\n\nCons:\n1. Sound output is Meh. \n2. Heats up pretty well.

Bang for the buck\nThis is launched late in the market though it was the need of the hour…However The chrome book is blazing fast and meets most of our day to day needs with Chrome…..The advantage with this is you no need to shut down unlike conventional windows laptops……Very lighter OS which doesn’t require a i3 or i5 processor….You can install MS office from play store. Convert this laptop into Tablet mode by flipping 360°…The touch sensitivity is nice..It has matte finish display and not reflective like mirror which most of the convertible laptops have. Per my usage battery backup is around 10 hrs. It has Kensington lock which helps to protect from theft though used in public places and in class rooms which is helpful to lock at desk for students.\n\nVery good for students upto +2\nGood for regular travellers who use you tube, Netflix etc\n\nSince it is Military grade certified it is right option for Kids as it’s having rubberized reinforcement around the laptop.\n\nJust go for it…if you are ok with the aforesaid criteria.

I purchased the product on the launching date. But i am extremely dissatisfied about the product only on one aspect i.e the sound quality. Sound quality and volume is extremely extremely poor. One will have to necessarily use external speakers or headphones. Even if u r attending to online classes, you will have to use external speakers. Most of the time you will not be able to hear out. The other aspects, it works really fine. Excellent for online classes. Its better than cheaper tablets

The pros of using Chromebooks\n\nChromebooks can lower your hardware and IT costs. …\nChromebooks can lower your software costs. …\nChromebooks are less vulnerable to viruses. …\nThey can encourage collaboration and improve productivity. …\nYou’re dealing with a robust platform. …\nChromebooks are ideal for a workforce that moves around a lot.\n\nOther tasks you can do offline\n\nView, create, and edit documents, spreadsheets, or slides using Google Drive .\nView and edit photos with the Chromebook’s built-in photo editor.\nRead web pages: Right-click the page, select Save as, then save the page as an HTML file.\n\nCan you install Windows on a Chromebook?\n\nInstalling Windows on Chromebook devices is possible, but it is no easy feat. Chromebooks were not made to run Windows, and if you really want a full desktop OS, they are more compatible with Linux. We suggest that if you really want to use Windows, it’s better to simply get a Windows computer.\n\nGreat product at this price point \nHappy with it, I needed it for wfh:)

1st: FLIPKART DELIVERY: Excellent; delivered in just one day; box was packed in another box very nicely and safely (10/10)\nDESIGN: 7/10 (thick bezels around the screen; not intrusive though)\nBUILD QUALITY: 9/10…..looks and feels sturdy; no wobbles; no creaking sounds; hopefully survives majority of kids\nBOOT TIME: 1 SECOND; Awesome; just like MacBook pro M1…..(10/10)\nSOFTWARE: Chrome OS is good and very handy with all features. almost all apps supported (9/10)\n (pro tip: if u cant find any app, try web app of the same; my kids school app wasn’t available but it opened nicely in \n browser); \nTOUCK PAD: Very nice; all finger gestures work flawlessly (9/10)\nKEYBOARD: Excellent; key travel is good; but not back lit (dont expect at this price)(9/10)\nAPPS & PLAYSTORE: Android Playstore with all its apps and games are available. some are optimized for chrome OS but many will \n run android mobile versions\nCONNECTIVITY: WIFI (both 2.4 & 5 GHz are present and signal strength is awesome); Bluetooth V5 works flawlessly; (9/10)\nPORTS: 2 USB-C ports working fine; external HDD and SDD read speeds and copy speeds are very good (10/10)\n USB 2.0 also working fine\nSCREEN QUALITY: OK for the price we pay; its basically a 720p screen…gets the work done (8/10)\n\nNow the biggest flaw: \nEXTERNAL SPEAKERS…pathetic….barely audible even at the highest volume; quality is muffled and feels sinking quality. Very bad work ASUS…..(this reminds me of my 10 year old ASUS laptop which had same poor and pathetic speakers; looks like ASUS will never correct its flaws) (1/10)

I bought this chromebook only for web browsing, and so far it’s doing it alright. Here are some of my observations about this laptop:\n\n1) Performance is okay for web browsing, using basic Android apps and watching multimedia content. If you want more, this is not for you.\n\n2) I tried Installing some Linux apps like Libre Office etc which worked fine. That’s an added advantage.\n\n3) A disturbing con I noticed is that when using the front camera, it’s indicator light gets so bright that it makes me want to stop using it!\n\n4) The laptop speakers are equivalent to a budget mobile’s speakers. It’s not the worst like other reviewers mentioned, but it’s something you should not rely on.\n\n5) Touch screen and tab mode functions are working good. No issues there.\n\n6) Battery life is significantly better than the Windows laptops I previously used!\n\n7) The device never got hot so far. Only when I installed/updated heavy apps on Playstore it gets slightly warm.\n\n8) This is another con I noticed. The SD card slot gets detected as USB Drive for some reason. So I can’t install Android apps in SD card or external storage! You can use them only for downloads and personal stuff! Keep this in mind as I was disappointed buying an SD card for this! \n\nI hope you saw my findings helpful! Please keep in mind that this is a Chromebook and not a Windows laptop! It’s basically a netbook with Linux and Android support. \n\nOnly buy this if you know what you want and what you’re buying!

This is perhaps the best value for money Chromebook available in the market. I am quite satisfied with the design, display, processing speed , touch response. But I didn’t get the 200GB Google drive space as promised.\n\nOnly con: Poor really poor soud output of the speakers but you can enjoy good sound through headphones.
