This review is for the ASUS ROG Rapture GT6 (2PK) Tri-Band WiFi 6 Gaming Mesh WiFi System.
I bought the product on May 2023. It has been running fine until 7/1/2023. In my case, the satellite mesh unit just went dead, and won’t powered on. I also smelled a burning smell coming from the unit. Fortunately the main router unit is still operational. I sent the unit back to ASUS for RMA.
I am hoping this is just a “one-off thing”, but I am still giving it a 1 star until I receive the unit back and in working condition for at least 2 years. I used Netgear Orbi for few years without any issue until I switched to this ASUS Mesh Wifi. For a $600 product to break within 2 months is just not acceptable to me.
