Blazing fast wireless router. Ai mesh works flawless. I have connected this to my primary ASUs 5300 router. Getting 5Ghz signal throughout my home. No connection drops , disconnections. Works flawless.

Amazing product. The coverage and performance are ideal for a medium sized house. Even with 40% wifi strength, you won’t feel any loss of connection. If you have bigger house, you can buy two of these and you should be covered. I’m using it for ACT PPPOE connection and it works without any issues. I’ve minimum 4 devices always streaming at HD and 7-8 devices always connected.

Price is more, but you can feel the difference to this and a normal router. Works good even when more devices are connected. Recommended for 24/7 network usage without any speed lag and disconnection

I required a new router to get better signal to my room in first floor. Old router was intermittently failing, throughput was also less.\nMorever, all of us working, studying from home, put a strain on existing device. Hence needed a better Wifi router.\n\nAfter lot of research on internet for suitable router and going through no of reviews. Finally settled for Asus RT-86U 3000 Mbps router \nIt is an excellent choice, setup took less than 30 seconds in moving from existing router to Asus. Tip : Please keep your login credentials handy for quick start. I was up and running within less than a minute. Speetest across different devices,location and distances gave 7x-8x times the speed of my old router. I had built a new PC on AMD stack and used Asus PCEAX58BT dual band PCI-E card for Wifi. It is giving blazing speed on first floor as well, stable connection as well on the new PC. Amazing combination now. Highly recommended product, with 3 years warranty and Flipkart offer helped me make a quick decision on this.

Coverage: great even on 5Ghz band. Dual WAN rocks. Speed awesome. First time got full 100mbps on wifi as per my broadband plan.

Fabulous router. 4 reasons:\n\n1. The range is much better than my previous D Link router, which served me well for 5 years. I get faster speeds (upto 250 mbps, max in my plan) even without the range extenders that I was using earlier. I used to have to add a Jio wifi booster with physical connection via ethernet cable earlier for my Jio Set Top Box, this now connects with the ASUS router wirelessly with no lag, no cables needed! Of course, I upgraded my internet cable to a CAT-6 cable which really helps (I am told Cat 6 can bear upto 1 Gigabit speeds, the max that i was getting on my Cat 5 cable was 100 mpbs).\n\n2. The router seamlessly shifts between 2.4 and 5 ghz frequencies so that I don’t have to shift manually, much smoother wi fi experience when walking through the house. I have a 3 BHK and this goes through walls well too.\n\n3. The app is superb, very easy to see connected devices, turn on and off devices as required (great with young kids at home!).\n\n4. Future proof, has AI Mesh so I can always add an ASUS router if I need even more juice and this will allocate bandwidth as needed smoothly without needing to create multiple networks.\n\nHats off ASUS, outstanding product!

Excellent router in the 15-18k range. Great 2.4G speeds within my 3 BHK, though signal drops a notch around corners n beyond walls, but excellent at long ranges(50-60 feet). 5G is excellent too, if your devices are capable. Software is the best I have seen, very user friendly and lots of tweaks for tracking use, diagnostics, parental controls, gaming priority, etc. Can mesh with other Asus routers if you have a large home/office.\n\nCompared to Asus 68U and other 8-12k routers, this is a clear winner. Was bit concerned about its 4 year launch date, but found all features regularly enhanced and hardware is perfect for current high speed internet as available in India. \n\nOnly reason one star less is due to zero packaging by seller(Tech-Connect, shipped from UP to BLR), pure luck that nothing inside was damaged.\n\nGo for it!
