I have been using this laptop since 2 weeks , i bought it for 53k and upgraded it to 16gb ram , the performance is top notch in this budget , rtx 2050 gives much better performance in games as compared to gtx 1650 or 1650ti. Build quality is awesome, thermals are descent, battery backup is average(we can’t expect good battery backup from gaming laptops in this budget) , i do 4k editing in it and graphics designing and this laptop handles it smoothly, Best laptop in this budget 🛐

The laptop is good and surely it is a value for money deal. But you have to deal with low battery backup . But besides all you can surely go for it.

Hi All,
I have using lenovo gaming laptop for last 10 years. After many considerations, Now i bought this Asus Tuf F17 laptop. Last 10 days i was using this laptop..
1st day Exp – Laptop is wonderful looking but Laptop heat more, after that i found that heating is due to 1st time setup and background updates download.
Build Quality – Wonderful build quality but comparing to lenovo, lenovo’s build is better than Asus.
Display – No comparison , Asus display is best with 17.3 inch and colors also good for watching movies and daily use. Not recommended for professional creators who wants 100% SRGB..
Sound – many people said sound is very low. At 1st ,sound was very low and i got disappointed. But you have to change the audio settings in Armory Crate App. After that Audio Volume is much better. So sound is loud enough.
Performance – Due to only 8 GB of DDR4 ram, many games showing less FPS including PUBG, NFS etc.. So Buy a 8GB DDR4 Ram and upgrade to dual channel 16gb ram. Then performance is very good.
Upgrade Options – within 1 week of purchase I have added Samsung 970 Evo 500GB NVme SSD + 8GB DDR Gskill Ripjaws. Its really wonderful i purchased SSD for Rs 2800 and 1350 Rs for 8 GB ram.. Upgraded myself in my new laptop. Wonderful feeling of seeing the asus internals. Heat management many cooling pipes given in laptop.
I don’t know how asus run for longer term investment. I will update the review after 1 month.
Heating – Yes it heats a lot , but its common in Gaming laptops due to Graphics Card Nvidia RTX 2050.
Intel I5 11400 or Amd version – I always prefer Intel as my old laptop also intel and its performance still good. I blindly trust intel.
My Ratings :
Build – 4.5/5
Display – 5/5 ( Best at this price compared to all gamimg laptops at this price )
Sound – 3.5/5 ( Above Average )
Performance – 5/5 (After Upgrading Ram)
Overall its a Best laptop ubder 57000 and i purchased the laptop for 55650 Rs..
Let’s hope this laptop will last for more than 4 or 5 years. I hope you like my review, if you like give me thumbs up. Thank U bye.

I had a MSI GL62M-7REX gaming laptop which I had purchased back in 2018. It came with the following specifications :
CPU : i7-7700HQ
GPU : GTX 1050 Ti
RAM : 8GB DDR4 2400 MHz Upgraded to 24GB DDR4 2400 MHz
Storage : 1TB HDD + 128GB SSD
It served me well for 6 years, but it was finally time to upgrade. I had my eyes on Asus TUF series gaming laptops for a while now. And so it didn’t take long to make up my mind. This specific model comes with the following specifications :
CPU – i5-11260H
GPU : RTX 2050
RAM : 8GB DDR4 3200 MHz Upgraded to 24GB DDR4 3200 MHz
Storage : 512GB SSD + 2TB SSD Upgrade
Gotta say, the difference in performance is instantly visible. Not just in gaming, but the overall experience using this laptop. The jump from a 60Hz display to 144Hz one is huge.
The thermal performance is decently good, nothing crazy. Its a gaming laptop afterall. Expect to see high 80s for your CPU, and mid 70s for your GPU. Although you could undervolt both your CPU and GPU for even lower temps.
Gaming performance is as expected. It is able to run most games on Medium to High on a wide range of 50-100+ fps without any issues.
Note that the TGP of your GPU is rated at 70W, but it will rarely even reach 60W even at full load. So there is a bit of room for overclocking your GPU, however its not needed unless you really want every drop of FPS out of your GPU.
The Read/Write speeds of the stock 512GB SSD is quite impressive. 5GBps/3GBps rounded off for Read/Write.
I don’t do Image/Video editing, so cannot comment on those, but I am sure it can handle moderately heavy encoding and processing with ease.
Its just been 4 days since my purchase, and my initial thoughts are on the positive side.
Also if you are stuck between RTX 2050 and RTX 3050, just know that they are quite competitive, and the difference is not worth the extra cash, unless cash is not a constraint. Be sure to check TGP of the GPU. Doesn’t matter if its a newer gen card, lower TGP limits how much total power your GPU can draw. Which means limited performance. A moderately high TGP RTX 2050 is almost the same as a lower TGP RTX 3050, so beware of it.
If I was asked whether I would recommend this laptop to other people, my answer would be a Solid Yes.

If you are looking for a beast in budget go for it without any second thought, I’m training machine learning modules, and opencv. It is working like a beast for me
Coming to Display it’s ok in this budget
Coming to performance it’s the best one
Charging is also moderately fine
Go for this if you are in 60k budget
