Reviewing this after 1 year usage. Performance is top notch. Battery backup is good. No need to say about display. Graphics performance is great. Good for 3D works like animation and rendering. Also you can go for game development with this laptop no problem. If you feel 512GB storage is not sufficient for your work you can buy external hdd/ssd with it.
Well when comes to video editing with premiere pro and after effects for normal editing performance is decent but if you do some heavy and professional editing this laptop gives not so good result. I find it hard to preview sometimes even at 1080p editing. Like laggy and frame dropping. well after patience of some minutes it computes the outcome and stables the preview. But certainly expected little more performance in video editing. But yes this laptop is good for animation and 3d graphical work. I personally am an animator and a game developer. Well for programming works macbook might be better option. But it also gives decent performance. If you only write codes and don’t want to do any other works like gaming, 3d graphical works then macbook is good for you. Otherwise take this laptop. This certainly worth it.

After used two weeks it is very much good except battery.
Positives :
Fast
Performance
Compact
Smooth

Negatives :
Battery (very much imortant to notice. it can hold only for 3 to 4 hours.)
I’m a hard programmer. i use laptop for atleast 18 hours. so i wanted good display and performance i opted it. but i cannot carry it outside without any power backups.
I have installed Linux as a host machine it works well with wifi driver. but some other drivers with numpad on trackpad wont work on linux.
Conclusion : if you want performance. battery is not important . Blindly choose it.
if Good Battery or performance both important go with Mac book

I have been using this laptop for 1 week now.
Windows 11 update was pending as soon as i booted it up for first time.
Battery life has not been very good (maybe cz of windows 11 ) , generally getting around 5-6 hours of SOT.
Performance is solid. Just played valorant on this at high settings with 2k resolution, was getting average 154 fps.
Fans kick in and keep it pretty cool and don’t get loud too.
Asuss’ customisation are pretty useful too. My asus app and glidex app have good features.
Screen is just awesome, everything looks so good in oled , watching a movie in dark room feels like a thrill when u cannot see those black pixels lighting up in OLED. One problem is every streaming app like netflix hotstar prime are not playing content at 2k with hdr ON even when the screen hdr is on from settings while my friend’s mi notebook ultra is showing 2k hdr on that same content. Asus needs to look into this matter. 90 hz refresh rate is also brilliant and going back to 60 feels like lag now.
Build quality is robust. Upper screen is aluminium and not as uncomfortably cold to touch in winters as some other aluminium products. Lower panel also feels like a metal but i read its plastic. But seriously its very hard to distinguish it from aluminium and whole chasis feels like metal. It is also very sleek , i saw the thickness to be 1.93 Cm in pics and i thought it must be pretty thick but believe me it feels so slim n elegant to hold in real life.
Keyboard is good but the backlight could have been a bit more bright however it seems sufficient at night and has 3 levels of brightness to adjust from.
Charging takes around 2 hours from 10- 100. But last 1 prcent takes awefully long time like around 15 mins just to go from 99-100.
Sound from speakers has good quality and stereo separation is also good. You can feel the bike going from left to right side in the movies. But the sound loudness could have been a bit better. Sometimes it feels tiny even when i hit 100% volume in both the app and windows.
Overall very good laptop. I researched thoroughly as i wanted a slim ultrabook for multimedia and productivity and powerful enough for games too. This laptop fit perfectly with its powerful ryzen 7 5800h and rtx 3050 (as it supports DLSS too) along with good multi-media performance.

Screen – it got OLED screen which superb considering its price , the brightness is pretty good.
Build- it’s got metallic lid and some sort of plastic at base which give feel of metal the build is pretty good for 14inch laptop
Port – here is kind of cost cutting happen from Asus it’s got only hdmi not even type c displayport , hdmi connect to directly to integrated graphics of Amd not from Nvidia which is kind of cons, also 2 usb 2.0 on left which is cons in 2022 where usb 3.0 exist
Performance – Tdlr laptop is pretty powerful for 14inch ryzen 7 5800h is very powerful and Asus make sure that we can get all its power ryzen 7 5800h can consume upto 50watts which is kind of amazing for small laptop as graphics card it has rtx 3050 tgp of 50 watts which make sense for 14 inch laptop but fear not rtx 3050 is still powerful but not as powerful as legion 5 3050 (tgp of 95 watts) overall a good combination
For gaming even though it’s creator laptop
Valorant 1080p low I got easily 230 + with little optimization u can go up to 260 in competitive
In 2.8k resolution I get upto 150 fps
As for thermal no worry it’s good for this size
It has 3 mode whisper , standard , performance
Whisper mode make sure laptop temp won’t go above 60 c in workload (ofc it clockdown processor power) standard is get go option u get good performance with no high temp max it go 70c , performance is kind of all out option it’s temp can be fluctuates sometimes depends upon how u Elevate the laptop from surface if you just place on flat surface temp can go 90+ but if it’s Elevate well it can stop at 80c overall thermal good
Speaker – they are average speaker (cost cutting)
Conclusion – if u need portable laptop with good screen this is get go option

Very good laptop in this price range for creators, 2.8k OLED screen is awesome… I’ve been on laptop for whole day but no eyestrain, little bit reflection but you can increase brightness.. battery backup is around 5 hours (videos and browsing), but if you put it on power saving mode you will get whole day, ….not good for regular gamers, since it heats a lot, but can do occasional gaming, i recommend power supply for heavy tasks….Best creator laptop in this range!

Worth the price, laptop is quite sleek. It does heats up little bit, fan does makes noise but only in performance mode. Really happy with speakers, they are quite powerful.
