Pros:
2 GB Ram & 1.6 Ghz offers good speed
HD Display – Plays Full HD videos without losing a frame (which happened so with MOTO E)
Audio is not that great in speakers however good at headset
Expandable Memory upto 64 GB
8 GB internal memory
Cons:
Battery charge stays for less compared MOTO
Buttons do not have illuminate backlight

Hardware(10/10) : 2GB Ram,8gb(you will get 5gb),intel processor at 1.6GHZ speed. Everything works awesome.
Software(10/10) : ZenUI………o my god its awesome friends. Just use it and you will feel.No bloatware.All application are very useful. One thing i wants to tell you here is that this phone is having totally new user interface. Asus has changed almost everything from phone dialer to calculator. Its not like micromax,karbon or any other cheaper phone who just got the android from somewhere and installed as it is in phones(awwwwwwwwwww).
Design(10/10): No compro in design from Asus. Very beautifully designed.
Call Quality(15/10): Dont go on my rating my math is good. When you will use this phone for call you will feel that previous phone with same sim card….you will come to know the power of a phone to boast calling quality. Crisp clear voice even when network bars will be 1 or 2.
Call Recording(10/10): Yes you can record calls.
Display(10/10): This phone having 294ppi density. Colors and graphics are superb. They are saying Gorilla Glass 3 is there but its not having Gorilla Glass. My phone fall down from knee hight and screen got broken. I called service centre and they are telling cost 7000 plus for screen. So be careful to use this phone. I will suggest purchase tempered glass screen protecttor on top of the screen of this phone.
Touch(10/10): Very smoth, resposive, no leg at all.
Notification Light(9/10): Yes it is also there. For calls,messages but there is not any option to control it. But in 10k its there.
Flash(10/10): I compared flash light with sony experia Z. Asus 5 won.
Camera(10/10): I have used camera. Its having almost every feature and some features which high end phones also not having…like gif animation pic,owl mode…etc
Front camera is also good. Also you can use volume button as shutter for those who like dedicated key to click pictures.
Speaker Sound(10/10): Very clear sound and well placed speaker. When you will play games speaker wont be covered by your hand.
EarPhone(10/10): Its awesome. When you will hear the sound you will be amzed and feel like Sony Eriction kind of sounds. Bass is superb. Although ep is not very fancy also not having dedicated volume key.
Apps Installation(10/10) : I have seen some reviews peoples are saying you cant install apps on sd card. Its not true. you can install apps directly on sd card. For this this is the path settings->asus custmized settings->under app installation->app installtion settings and chose your default installation location.
you can also move application if it allowed. this depends on application.
Face Unlock(10/10): Yes it is also there.
Miracast(10/10): Yes my friend its also there. Enjoy things on big LED Screens.
Reading Mode(10/10): It will change all the colors and text of your phone like a book.
DUAL SIM(10/10): Both sims support 3G. Yes u r not believing? This is the first phone which is gving this feature in this range. Also both sim slots are mini sim slot.
Browsing Speed(10/10): It supports upto 40mbps. Browsing is super fast. Compared with xperia z. Asus 5 won.
Gaming(10/10): Awesome graphics,superb animation. I played asphalt8 previously on lumia 720, samsung grand, micromax phones but when i played on this device i felt like i am playing first time. The drawback of this is draining battery very fast.
Weight(10/10): Its around 140gm. You will feel very lightweight and handy.
Handling(10/10): Designed in a way that you will feel the phone very slim and handy. Width of phone is not too much thats y u will feel very handy.
Video Quality(10/10): Its awesome. It can play video upto 1080p.Compared with xperia z.
Battery(8/10): Yes first time i am giving 8. I got battery backup 16 hours with continous 3G,single sim normal use. I played 2 or 3 games including asphalt 8 which consumed 30% of battery.
Heating Issue(9/10): very very little heating.
Android(10/10): currently android 4.3 upgradable to 4.4 but dont know when update will come. Also not sure Asus will give L update or not?
FM Radio: Yes its also there.
Thats It my friends. Lots of features are still there. When you will use u will know.
Also i will suggest you to buy 8GB version as it will save RS.3000. You can purchase 16GB sd card in RS.600.

Well I received the product today. I bought this phone, due to the attractive specs.
After 1 hour of using this is my review
1) IT really feels cheap ( the image that u see, is not what u get), moto e looks better in hand then this phone
2) Design is kind of like htc. However apart from 5 inch screen,its god damn tall. Feels like note 2
3)It has a intel processor. I thought with 2 gb RAM, it would run well, but there were lags while multitasking
4) Wifi connectivity is the worst. It kept on disconnecting while downloading apps from the appstore
5) Whats that hype about zenUI, its the worst UI i have used still now
6) Even after half and hour of changing settings(etc), both 2g and 3g dint work. I could connect to only wifi. (It could not get automatic settings and yes the sim was registered as i could make calls.. and i did have net activated called up network operator too), tested with two sims. The sim was getting connecting in galaxy s3.
7)Camera i must say was the only good feature i liked
8)Earphone that comes with,is pretty much cheap
9) The phone is really light.
10) Please dont start saying this is wat u get for 10k. If u see the specs its really good. However if 2g,3g doesnot work,the first day, i dont think i would continue using this phone. (God knows if service centre even exsists)
11) Moto g is still better option paying 2k extra bucks
I have already applied for refund and its under process.This would be the last phone i buy from flipkart. They provide good service however the last 3 phones i bough from flipkart in the last 3 months, all had some problems sometime or the other.
For people who want to order wait for others review and then order it. I dont feel its worth the money. Go for Moto g
I never write any review for any product. I was really disappointed after unpacking the phone.So please people avoid the disappointment wait for more reviews .Let the product get shipped to more people.

got asus zenfone champane gold 5 on the launch day. excellent phone ..no lag. resolution is outstanding. features equipped, very good camera..fantastic phone and seems i paid peanuts for such a good phone..beware of poor reviews by people i don’t think they have even held the phone.. they seem to be from rival companies trying to project poor image of such a good product..highly recommend..people should go for this phone whenever it is back in stock.

Got this in afternoon today. Had been using it since. The RAM is 2GB. Performance is so smooth. I did not feel any lag. Got a score of 19856 in antutu benchmark, better than Galaxy S3 and Nexus4.
This is a very great product. And at this price I bet you cannot get a better product than this.
I had chosen 8Gb version as it is 3k cheaper and I have the option to expand it any time.

I have a moto g and moto e and now this zenfone 5.
This phone is just amazing.
It never lags owing to its intel processor and 2 gb of ram.
Antutu benchmark is 19800 and quadrant is 10000 which is far better than moto g.
Looking at the phone no one would belueve it is of 10 k
Touch responsiveness is best .
Video quality is just a lil bil less than moto g
I played heavy games like fifa 14 dead trigger and asphalt 8 .and it never lagged .
On flipkart it says it dosent have fm.
Believe me friends it has fm.
Camrea is not as good as professional but ya it has many modes.flash os just awesome.
Zen ui is also great but i missstock android.
I will strongly suggest people to buy this zen.

Asus Zenfone 5 vs Moto G (2nd Gen)
1.) In the box accessories
Accessories provided with zenfone 5 are of very good quality whereas that of Moto G2 is not upto the mark. USB cable is also absent in the box of moto G2.
2.) Design & Build Quality
Design of both phones are really good. But relatively compact size of moto G2 makes it easier to handle. Build quality of both phones are very good
3.) Display
Both the devices have 5 inch IPS LCD display with a pixel density of 294 ppi & good viewing angles. Zenfone 5 has an inbuilt app called splendid which allows us to change the colour contrast and saturation of the display which is pretty good.
4.) Processor
Zenfone has a 1.6 GHz Dual core Intel atom atom processor with hyperthreading technology which makes the device to perform like a 1.6GHz quad core processor!!
Moto G2 has a 1.2GHz Quad core snapdragon chipset which is behind the Intel processor in terms of performance. (See the benchmark results)

5.) RAM
Zenfone 5 comes with 2GB of RAM which gives you a smooth multitasking experience than moto G2 which is having only 1GB of RAM. Moto G2 shows small amount of lags during heavy multitasking
6.) Graphics
Zenfone 5 has PowerVR SGX 544 MP2 graphics which is much better than the Adreno graphics of Moto G2 which is clear from the Nenamark 2 benchmark score.
7.) Software
Moto G2 is running on stock android Kitkat (4.4.4). Kitkat update(4.4.2) is now out for Zenfone 5 also.Android L update for both the phones are confirmed. Moto G2 will get the Lolipop update earlier than the Zenfone series. Definitely Moto G2 scores here with its faster android updates.
8.) User Interface
Zenfone 5 comes with Zen UI which is butter smooth and has lot of option to customize. It is loaded with many built-in useful apps such as App lock, Ram cleaner etc. Trust me, you will love it!!
Moto G2 has stock android with no option to customize
9.) Camera
Both the phone comes with 8MP rear and 2MP front cameras which is good in performance. But Moto G2 has a stock camera interface which has only limited options allows only HD video recording whereas the camera of Zenfone with PixelMaster Technology has a much better camera UI with lot of options and modes and it allows full HD video recording!! You will fall in love with it for sure!!
10.) Sound
The speaker volume of Zenfone 5 is a bit low but of good quality. Sound quality through headsets is very good. Whereas the speaker volume of Moto G2 is loud as well as of good quality because of the dual front speakers.
11.) Call quality
Call quality is excellent on Zenfone 5 (Rating: 9) Moto G also has good call quality (Rating: 8)
12.) Battery
Zenfone 5 has 2110mA battery & Moto G2 has a 2070mA battery. Both of them lasts for one day with moderate usage. After Kitkat update, battery backup of Zenfone 5 improved a lot. Now it’s giving 5 hours of screen time which was only 2.5 -3 hrs when the time of purchase!! Moto G (2nd gen) is giving a screen time of 4-4.5 hrs. (Both are with WiFi and single sim)
13.) Memory
Zenfone 5 has 8 GB internal storage out of which 5 GB is available for user. It also allows installation of apps to SD card directly whereas MotoG2 comes with 16GB storage out of which 12GB is usable. It doesn’t allow the installation of apps directly to SD card.
14.) Charging
Zenfone 5 takes 2.45 hrs to charge from 0- 100% whereas Moto G2 takes around 3.5 to 4 hrs.
15.) SAR Values
Most of the people never mind this!! But this is a very important factor as it is the radiation values of the phone.
* Zenfone 5 : At the Head – 0.710 W/Kg, At the Body – 0.607 W/Kg
* Moto G2 : At the Head – 1.52 W/Kg, At the Body – 0.894 W/Kg
Remember 1.6 W/Kg is the maximum allowed limit of SAR value
Bottom line: Both of the devices are really good and value for money. So make a decision according to your needs and usage pattern!!

ASUS zenfone 5 is the best phone packed with awesome features. hatsoff to the engineers behind engineering UI of phone. great, lovely,eye catching,smooth UI. lots of customization to apps. it will never feel like a low budget phone. it is well crafted and looks like an high budget phone. the weight of the phone i felt was light. such a big phone feels weightless in hand, thats really great. it is 5 inch but feels bit larger than 5 inch segment. that doesnt matter becoz of its design.
this has intel atom chip which is dual core. do u think it will hang or get slow.?? if so then zen will surprise u with its speed. yes it does.
games that i tested
1. subway surfer- initial stage felt a slight lag in the starting of gameplay later went smooth without any lags.(note:10 apps were running at background while playing)
2.frontline d-day : played verywell without any lag.
3.turbo fast: no lag at all
4.asphalt 8: started with slight lag. then no lag at all. gameplay was too good.
5.gt racing 2: nice gameplay and no lag felt any where.
all these apps where installed on class 10 sd card.
touch is really smooth. it has glove touch. i tried and it makes systems touch sensitivity high. awesome.
2 gb of ram…makes system more faster.
this phone doesnt support rooting.
u can install app on sd card. apps are movable. yes it is great.
the problems with device is very less.
1. the fm radio is not supported for indian channels.(hope asus fix this issue).
2. the sound quality is really good with headphones. speakers do not give that effect.(this was at starting without updates..after updates back speaker sounds have increased..great).
3.its battery well thats a big issue.i being using this phone roughly for more dan 6 days. and what i noticed is without wifi and 3g connectivity also without playing songs one complete day, then u will get battery for whole day even little bit for tommrw too..but this is not acceptable for a smartphone user.
i played subway surfer for jst 10 minutes and my battery fall from 70 to 58..hmm okay.. then i played another 10 minutes and almost reached to 30. (well for this test i didnt used any battery saving app. i was using preinstalled battery saver app.)
4. if anyone feel this phone has 4.3 jelly os then need not to be worried . probably asus is releasing updates for zenfones soon with kitkat 4.4 along with zenui. the updates hav already released for padfones.
5.the what next is great idea.it is useless if customer is not aware how to use it.
the what next feature takes updates from asus calender. i checked it manually by providing some data. and it worked, displayed that data on my lock screen. well problem is that automatically it is not taking.
one of the most important thing is the camera. awesome camera. with lots of features .
some of my favorite features are l
1.low light-as it is specified on asus website 400 percent brightness. yes it does. great innovation.
2.selfie- u feel selfie difficult with rear camera. hmm, now its not . this has auto face detection feature which will detect ur face and start beeping and takes ur pic. isnt that great , i felt great.
3.and others are smart remove feature great one. if there is any passerby while taking pic then this technology intelligently removes it.
depth of field is also a nice feature. and miniature too.
pic quality is too good than other phones under that price range.
