The perfect budget friendly phone for youth.. Awesome Asus Zenfone max pro m1 is the best according to me.. The camera quality is awesome.. zero lag issues till date.. I have been using it for 20days.. Flipkart thanks for the super fast delivery…..
anurag singh –
Actually I have to give it 4.5 stars. First of all the delivery by Flipkart was amazing fast, within 48 hours I received my parcel. Talking about the packaging, it was fine but not up to the mark. Now talking about the box contents, the box include smart phone wrapped in plastic also including some paperwork a charger brick including a USB to micro USB cable. Also the box has an unexpected utility which is known as sound box according to Asus.
-Now talking about the handset, the initial impression are good, the handset gives a good in hand feel and has a modern design with a new 18:9 aspect ratio. The display has got nice colors and good viewing angles.
-Talking about the cameras this device has got dual camera setup at rear which includes 13+5 MP cameras with a LED flash. At front it has 8MP camera with LED flash. Most people don’t notice the LED flash as it is not easily visible. Both cameras hasgot potrait mode and clicks descent photos.
-Now talking about the software this device has almost stockish UI, which asus tell that it is full stock UI. The impressions were good and I experienced no lag while multitasking
-At last one of the major highlight of this device is the massive 5000mAh battery which is just amazing. The battery life increases a little by software update. The charging time is about 2.5 to 3hours. Considering a huge battery the charging time is justified.
So, this was my review for Asus Zenfone max pro m1. Hope everyone like it. And please give a thumbs up.

Guys.. Please like this comment so that others may know and get help..
1) This phone [** Blue variant only**] comes with a good quality **transparent back cover**.. so don’t buy a back cover along side..[Black and grey color phone variant doesn’t come with back cover ]
2) This phone doesn’t have Corning gorilla glass but the display is really good.. it’s resistive to scratches from day to day items like key.. it doesn’t get scratches up to level 5..(watch YouTube video for proof)
3) Blue color is the latest one and it’s pretty stylish
4) Battery is awesome 1.5- 2or 2.5 days guaranteed
5) it will get Android pie during Feb 2019 and also Android Q..
6) It has dedicated 3 slots for 2 4G Sims and microSD Memory card
7) it’s really light compared to other phones with good battery..
8) you get many fota updates once you boot it(first time).. It has EIS and live wallpaper features as promised..
9) The phone has been promised to be given bimonthly security updates..
10) Leaving the front camera performance 8MP, this phone is best to buy if you people plan for Redmi note 5 pro .
11) Awesome sound quality and loud because of 5 magnet speakers in phone..
12) It has Face detection unlock feature..
13) Recommend to install Google Pixel camera app..(refer Google.. doesn’t require rooting )
14) it’s 95% stock Android Oreo.
15) it’s Rs. 3k-4k cheaper than Redmi note 5 pro..
16) Snapdragon 636 Is awesome..no lag..also the adreno graphics is great.
17) No heating issue

Front Camera: 6/10
Processor: 10/10

Face Unlock and Fingerprint: 9/10

Sound from Earphones: 9/10
Pricing: 10/10
Overall Rating: 8/10
Detailed Review:
Here’s what you get inside the box:
1. Handset
2. Charger (5V, 2Amps)
3. USB charging cable
4. Sim ejector pin
5. Max Box (to amplify sound)
Design:
There’s the nothing special or different in the design of the phone. Still, the design is decent and It does feel comfortable in hand. Asus has done well to keep its weight down even with the massive 5000 mAh battery inside. The phone is tall like other 18:9 aspect ratio display phones and you won’t be able to use it properly with one hand. So, design rating is 8/10.
Display:
The display on the front is a Full HD 6-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The display is sharp and bright with good viewing angles and colors. It is covered with a 2.5D glass which gives it a premium look. The glass in not Gorilla Glass so here also the rating is 8/10.
Battery:
The phone comes with a massive 5000 mAh battery. If you are one of those who hates to charge their phone every day then you will love this device. The battery will last for 2.5-3 days with light usage, 2 days with medium usage and 1.5 days with heavy usage. The screen on time can be as high as 12-14 hours which is incredible. Battery rating is 10/10.
Audio:
The audio experience is great in this device. It comes with an NXP amplifier and if you have a nice pair of earphones or headphones, you will love listening to music on this device. The sound output from Speakers is decent as well. If you need more loudness, use the Max Box which comes with the device. Sound Experience is one of the best in this price range and rating is 9/10.
Performance:
Snapdragon 636 with stock android is a perfect recipe of great performance. The chipset is very powerful and handles all kinds of task with ease. App opens and close fast. Gaming is smooth. You won’t notice any lag in day to day usage. Rating is 10/10 here.
Security:
Both fingerprint sensor and face unlock work fine. Fingerprint sensor takes less than half a second to unlock the device and face unlock takes around a second. Do note that Face unlock won’t work well if there is low light. Once you start using face unlock, your fingerprint usage will reduce drastically as face unlock works great. Just press the power button and it unlocks (obviously if you are looking at the device).
Camera:
I did a detailed camera test and overall the back camera works fine but front selfie camera is disappointing. From back camera, you can take good pictures with bokeh effect in outdoor conditions. If there is low light, the pictures won’t be detailed.
Selfie front camera performance is disappointing. Pictures don’t look good at all. That’s the main reason I have dropped the overall rating from 9 to 8.
Overall, Asus Zenfone Max Pro is a solid performer and one of the best smartphones in this price range. Asus has done a great job with pricing.
If you are confused between Redmi Note 5 Pro and Asus Zenfone Max Pro then I will help you out.
>>> Buy Asus Zenfone Max Pro if you need latest stock android, bigger battery and want to save some money.
>>> Buy Redmi Note 5 Pro if you need a better display, camera performance and MIUI which adds useful features.
I hope you liked the review. If it was helpful please give thumbs-up/upvote.
