Firstly I would like to thank Amazon for the super fast one day delivery (with Prime though).
Now I will come the packaging part. Please be noted its not Amazon packaging but it’s Atomberg packaging which I must say very decent and sturdy enough making the brand a premium one. Also the package contains every accessories and product related documents with warranty card are there in a company envelope which is very classy. +5 stars for this!
After using for 3 days following are my experiences.
Pros – 1) Finishing and material quality is very good. +5 stars for this!
2) Unlike other induction fans it is lightweight and this may be one of the reasons for such low power consumption. +5 stars for this!
3) Remote quality and functionality are very good and doesn’t look like a cheap one. Plus is it uses AAA batteries. +5 stars for this!
4) Air delivery is same as that of induction fans despite low power consumption. +5 stars for this!
5) Boost mode is what you get a little bit more speed than 5, in short it is 5.5. A unique feature. +5 stars for this!
6) 2+1 years on-site warranty is a plus what you get and makes you feel the brand/product reliable. +5 stars for this!
Cons – 1) Being light weight it swings a bit while in operation, though it is manageable for me but others may find it a minus. -1 star for this!
Overall its very good product +4.86 stars. I definitely recommend it.
[Edit After 6 months usage] I suddenly experienced a HUMMING noise at speed #2. I lodged a complaint. Atomberg Technician visited and recommended a replacement for Motor & Blade. The replacement was installed by the Atomberg Technician but this new replacement unit was also faulty. At speed #1 there is a HUMMING noise. It seems that this company might NOT manufacturing quality products as they claim in their website and advertisements or they might have some serious DESIGN FAULTS in their product as the technician also told me that they had some similar complaints in the past. Requesting Atomberg to please address this HUMMING issue at a particular speed and rectify it immediately, otherwise it will be hard for you to sustain in this industry. As I will surely think thrice before buying any other Atomberg fans and for the time being I won’t recommend Atomberg to anyone.
Revised rating is now 2.0

Tl;DR: It is a good fan and I have been using for more than an year now. Buy it for the power savings and good service support, but not for the remote. Considering that I am willing to pay a premium, I would have liked to pay a little more and get an IoT enabled fan with WiFi for integration with Google Home (lot more convenient than their remote and you can do some cool automations). Unfortunately they have only released an IoT version with 1200mm sweep so I recommend waiting till they release a 1400mm version.
I bought four 1400mm fans (2 white and 2 brown) to replace existing 1200mm Crompton traditional fans and installed all of them myself after removing the old ones. The fan rod that came with these fans is of high quality, but I couldn’t use them as my old rods are fixed in through false ceiling. Even the bolts that come with this fan are a bit more sturdier that the previous bolts. The bolts are also a tad bit bigger, but they still went through the hole in the existing rod with a bit of a force.
The installation was smooth, and 3 of the fans were well balanced, but the other was quite wobbly. I looked up the troubleshooting steps in the manual and tried the option to reposition blades. After trying all the 4 different combinations possible, the last one turned out to be stable enough. There is still a bit of a wobble, but not enough for me to worry.
The fans do produce wind that is comparable to the traditional fans so we are not really sacrificing anything (except some Moola) to save power. The reason I replaced the old 1200mm fans is because they weren’t pushing enough air to all corners of the room. These 1400mm fans do cover more area, so I have less incidents of mosquito bites overnight. For me, the main satisfaction is that I am using energy conserving fans. I also experienced their support/service and it is top notch. I would have given it 3 stars because of the below issues (especially because of the less usable remote), but adding one more star because of their great support/service:
– Out of 4 fans I bought, I experienced issues with two of them, which is high as rates go (see below for details of these issues)
– The finish on the fans could be better. If you observe carefully you would see imperfections and misalignments. E.g, the led indicator for the remote is not at the dead center for two of the fans, and I can see some gaps here and there.
– The remote idea is attractive, but it is not really more convenient than 2-way switches. With 2-way, I have one switch right next to my bed and there is a regulator right next to it and I can operate both with my eyes closed. The remote is way less convenient, especially in the dark. In more than one instance, I pressed wrong button (there are two sets of the buttons, one for speed and another for sleep timer) in the middle of the night, even after turning on the light.
– The fan does take noticeably longer to fully speed up.
– There are some usability issues. E.g, if you quickly turn the wall switch off and then on (say, by accident), it will slowdown, stop for a moment before starting back again (though not always). This is annoying and confusing (especially to guests).
Here are the service issues:
After using for a few days, one of the fans developed a weird issue. It started making some sort of a “tak tak” noise. I could tell that the sound was coming from inside the fan, but it wasn’t there all the time. Sometimes, there is no sound for several minutes and sometimes it is there continuously. I contacted Atomberg support and they quickly sent a service person. The service person was actually a very capable person, but he too couldn’t understand it. After a couple of visits, he blamed it on our false ceiling. He did try something that seemed to reduce the noise for a few days, but it became unbearable again (hard to fall asleep and even sometimes wake me up), so I contacted back their support. This time, Atomberg sent me a replacement and the replacement fan looks good so far, no unusual noises.
I have another fan developing another weird behavior. Occasionally, it shuts off, stops fully and then starts running again, all by itself. After carefully diagnosing this myself, I noticed that there is a small play in the way the fan rod was fixed to the ceiling (a poor job by our contractor) and this makes the rod turn in the other direction right after switching it on. Suspecting that this has something to do with the issue, I got a contractor to install a wood piece around the rod to make it sit tight and not move and the problem vanished (not a single such occurrence again after several months). It may be that there is a safety sensor in the fan that detected the unusual movement in the fan and briefly cut the power off.

We have 3 Atomberg Efficio 1400mm BLDC Ceiling Fans and 2 Wall Mounted fans in our 1 BHK Flat in Mumbai. These were purchased over the past 5 years or so. Performance & Energy Saving is Great.
HOWEVER – REGISTERING ONLINE FOR WARRANTY SUPPORT was very difficult & I gave up two years ago.
Recently we needed a remote & had to order it directly from Atomberg directly as Amazon does not list it. We ordered a spare too. Its a new design and works perfectly.
