I bought this adapter to keep my heavy-duty laptop, which can eat up to 140 watts, running when I’m traveling in my car. I have used it rarely though because the AC socket is not designed well. Presumably, they wanted the socket to accommodate different plug designs but it doesn’t clasp the plug well. The grip is so bad in fact that the plug would slip out as the car moves.I have tried mobile phone chargers as well as 3-pin laptop chargers all of which were standard high-quality products and had the same issue with them. I had to use hairbands to keep the plugs in place.
The device also would trip when drawing high power, for example when the laptop GPU is on and it is drawing around 140W, although the converter is rated for constant 200W operation. These are things that should have been tested before releasing the product.
I have ended up using only the USB out for charging my phone in emergencies, something that could have been done at 1/5th the price with one of the USB phone chargers.

Bought more expensive Belkin because of brand value even though lesser priced options were available. Inverter worked fine for some months but recently cigarette lighter fuse in car blew out. Got fuse changed but they blew out again . Realized there’s some malfunction in inverter due to which car fuse gets blown every time I use inverter. Cigarette lighter point works fine with all other gadgets. Don’t want to risk using inverter again. Unfortunately don’t know where to get it repaired from

Reason for buying this product as mine was robbed from my car Same brand same item
. My old one was just superb and was in service over 6 years . Worked flawlessly. This one I ordered didn’t come on at all. I was shocked to read a poor product review but went against it and brought this one again . Just to note .my old same item I had purchased from Inorbit mall directly and was just too good. Hope the replacement unit works and restores the product image of what I have

As a frequent traveler to remote areas in the Hamalyas I had to deal with the problem of charging an increasing number of electronic equipment that have become necessary items in my travel kit. These include laptop, tablets, cell phones, camera batteries, torchlight batteries and GPS. Without recharge all these items are useless and finding a power source to plug in at least once a day for a few hours is difficult in the hills. Thankfully, not any more. My Scorpio has two cigarette lighter plugs, one in the front and another at the back. I simply plug my Belkin AC anywhere into the back plug and charge all the electronic equipment without having to wait for an external power source.
I find the inverter very useful and handy. Output voltage is steady and 200 watts current means it can work a lot of stuff at one time. One can plug in a powerstrip or multiple plugs to provide power to multiple equipment.
Amazon’s legendary packing ensures the equipment reaches you safe. Very much impressed by the speed of delivery!

Pretty good as of now. Used it twice in last 15 days. Purpose solved. It’s a kind of fast charger for Dell laptop. Only issue I am facing is the socket of converter. There is a children safety flap inside the socket which keeps on throwing out the plug. U need to push it in again and again. There is very low sound from the device and do not irritates you at all.
