Blue Star Excella 6 L RO + UV + UF Water Purifier

i already bought a bluestar water purifier 6 months back for my home and it was excellent so i bought this one too for my flat and its totally worth it. looks great in black and water taste is also great. wasted too much time deciding best purifier and m happy that settled for this one

A decent option to buy at a reasonable rate . Quick installation also provided by Blue Star. Had to call them twice as water draining pipe wasn’t installed properly initially but was rectified in the second visit . New pack does not have child lock tap as mentioned in description but overall its a decent product to go ahead .

At first I ordered aquaguard which did not matched my expectations nor changed the water taste… Then I came across this product usually blue star brand name is trustable in most aspects and I got this product at lowest price during BB days, and when I started using this product is amazing and it does change the taste too… A big thanks to flipkart and team blue star for winning customers hearts ❤️.

Delivery and installation done on time as per my convenience. Installation guy seems new to his profession but well trained. I asked for additional V joint for taps to connect to purifier as i have two taps seperate for municipal and bore water. It is good if both mix and gets into purifier. might gives long filter life (just a thought). But the installation guy do not have that V joint or plug. He said I could raise a request by calling bluestar and they will arrange for some cost. Bluestar service response is good. They keep following up.\n\nComing to performance, purifier does good job. I have checked tds level of purified water and it is 60ppm (Bought tds meter from online, costs rs. 250. It is good to have one as you can check tds regularly and moniter the purifier performance). Below are some pros and cons after using for 15 days.\n\nPros:\n1. Slim design and sturdy body\n2. Very is very less and performance is just perfect.\n3. Water tastes good. For me the supply is bore water (for now) water tastes sweet but not really taste of mineral water. But water is pure (tds 60) which is the main point.\n4. Silent operation. Sounds like kent or other purifier brand and sound is only when water being purified and no sound when idle.\n5. Fast purification. 7 liters getting purified in less than 30 mins.\n6. Comes with free prefilter.\n\nCons: \n1. Small size (suitable for family of 3 or 4). But again fast purification sorts this.\n2. Build quality could have been bit better but again it doesnt matter as long as it does the job and its a fixed object.\n3. Water taste not so sweet (i am used to bisleri water, might take time for me to get used to it) .\n\n Verdict: Just go for it without thought. It costs price of 1 year maintenance cost of kent purifier. Bluestar seem generous with service and supply parts cost. Technician said i might have to change filters after 2 years (we are only 2 people in the house) which cost approx 3000.
