The kettle has average build. It is a fully imported item from China that borosil only markets. Considering this, its hugely expensive ( nearly 40% premium to that of Wipro and other companies that sell similar kettles). Quite disappointed on Borosil due to this. I am a fan of their other products that are made in India cos their quality is quite superior. But i cant say the same about this kettle.. avoid paying a premium and buy the cheaper kettles that are just as good or maybe better.

Within 6 months of purchase , the appliance broke down. Heating didn’t happen, indication light didn’t work.
Upon repair through borosil after service, in 2 months same issue happened.

I have been continuously redirected to someone or the other to beg for servicing my electric kettle that stopped working in 5 months time. And now I’ve been asked to give it somewhere else for servicing and that my amount will be reimbursed. If I do that, wouldn’t I lose my credibility for a warranty?

I picked up this one as it had no reviews. All other products were having mixed feedback. After using for almost 1 month, i am happy with the product.
It has 16amp plug due to 1800watts.
Water heats up really fast though make noise but it is okay. Due to double layer, it also keeps water warm for sometime.
Lookwise it is beautiful in white colour with 1.8ltr capacity.
You can try some cheaper options from other brands or of the same product is available with discounts as I did not find discount on this poduct.

Handle can get too warm to hold. The spout doesn’t deliver water evenly in a stream. Scales very quickly in just 2-3 uses. Build is decent and looks good.
