Giving it a 1 star coz of the lack of follow up service.
Well, it seemed like a really good product & Its a really trustworthy brand, however strangely exactly on the 8th day it stopped working. I was asked to contact the brand itself, since it had a 2 year warranty as it was now out of Amazon’s 7 day return policy.
Having contacted Borosil, they had the toaster picked up. Its been almost a month. Neither have I received a refund, nor a replacement, or any word on what is happening yet.

I bought the toaster because Borosil is a brand I like for their glasses. Thought they would bring the same quality to other products. I was wrong. The toaster looks very good, but that’s about it. No option of only toasting 2 slices. As a result the full element comes on and burns one side (towards the centre of the toaster).
Also, the body gets very very hot (It seemed metallic). So while it looks good, not very practical.

It works for a year and a half. Then it stops locking for toasting (does not lock for pop-up). I made a complaint. The technician came. Opened the sensor, cleaned it and it started working. After two days it again stopped. Mind it, we have been using other pop-up toasters for nearly four decades now and none gave such problems. That means, we know how to keep the toaster clean and remove the bread crumbs daily after use. Looks like there is a flaw in the design of Borosil toaster. It’s sensor is located close to the toasting area and bread crumbs deposit on it. This is inside and you cannot clean without calling a technician. On my fourth complaint, the sensor was changed. It is working now – not sure for how many days. The warranty expires in about a fortnight and then I have the option of buying a new one than to pay charges to Borosil for a bad product.
Secondly, the stainless steel cover gets very hot and you run the risk of burning your hands. Overall impression : Frustating experience for a small product. Go for other superior brands.

Its a good toaster. I loved it. The build is nice. And super easy to use with good features. I have used it only once and the toasts came out well but i could smell something burning. Like plastic burning. But im not sure if that happened because its a new product or because there’s something wrong with it.

Pros – 1. Very Good toaster. It can make bread
slices ultimate crispy.
2. 4 slices ready at the same time.
3. Downside tray for cleaning.
Cons –
1. No upper cover available. You will have to
cover it with some towel.

paper wrap
3. No sturdy packing used by seller.
