Temperature distribution is very good. But if I set oven temperature 200C it’s run in 160C . Its difficult to manage without oven thermometer. I suggest to use oven thermometer. Otherwise it’s very good OTG.

I have been using this oven for the last 4 months, and these are the points that I felt is important for me.

First the Pros:

1. This is a fairly large oven, probably the largest that you can keep on countertops. Anything larger than this would be impractical for countertop oven. Being large, you can fit variety of vessels like Dutch ovens, skillets and larger baking trays inside, which is really useful.

2. The controls are easy to use, and changing from one mode to another is straight forward. This is a fully manual oven, so you have all the controls. The rotisserie set is somewhat difficult to put in and out with the provided handle when the oven is hot and you have a heavy chicken or meat on it.

3. Aesthetically it is pleasing, with decent build quality of the body. The body seems sturdy, but don’t expect it to withstand abuse. The trays provided inside is another story though (mentioned below).

Now the cons:

1. This oven has no insulation what so ever. You can see that the back and the bottom of this oven has just a thin sheet of steel, that’s it. Being uninsulated has two problems. First, the whole body gets very how when you use this oven. It’s dangerous for children to be around when you operate it. Second issue is heat retention. The oven has zero heat retention, and so as soon as you switch it off, its gets cold within minutes. Also, because of heat loss, the efficiency of this oven is very bad.

2. Due to the previous point, this issue has temperature issues. It cannot attain a very high temperature inside. Though it is advertised as max temp of 250 C, in my experience, the most I could achieve is 200 C, that too after about 15-20 mins of pre-heating. As soon as you put food inside to cook, the temperature starts to drop. So the basic functionality of this oven is not met. You cannot cook certain things like baguettes, or tandoori chicken well in this oven without making them dry.

3. The quality of the trays and grill rack provided is sub-par. They are very flimsy. Being a large oven, you would expect to put large pots inside to cook, like a Dutch oven. But the grill rack is so flimsy, that it would sag with the weight of the pot. So don’t even consider to put a loaded cast iron Dutch oven pot in this oven. The grill rack may just break.

4. I strongly recommend to use a oven thermometer to monitor the oven temperature. Because, the temperature inside the oven is something completely different that that you set on the dial. It may ruin whatever you are cooking if you are not careful.

Arrived with no defects. Don’t worry about anything you can order it without second thought. It’s big enough to put two 8inch cake tin and even one each of 6,7,8inch cake tin fits all together inside. It’s tray size is 16l×13b inch / 40l×33 cm. I research so many ovens and ended up with this one, no regrets totally worth it!
