Having owned almost all previous Avatars of Bose Earbuds including the last version Quite Comfort, this newer “Upgrade” and version seems to be a skip to me. While the shape and form factor has been changed, after using it for last 10 hours I find no substantial reason to upgrade to this earbud over its last launch of Quite Comfort.
ANC seems to have slightly improved. Bass has no remarkable upside. Mids and lows sound same.
Touch controls also seem to more or less same.
Wireless charging is now missing and that’s a downgrade over last version.
The earbuds improve in performance with firmware update that triggers straight out of the box itself on its first pairing.
Spatial Audio is missing. They have used some AI technology which makes the earbuds a joy to use.
All said, if you have their last version this may be skipped. If you don’t have their last version and are a Bose Fan, then it’s worth making these a part of your collection .
A fair benchmark, since price is the same to that of an Apple AirPod Pro -2, is to compare both and in almost all respects Apple AirPod pro 2, in my view, wins.
It’s an amazing earbud to own if there were no other and previous choices.
Bose needs to make Wireless charging a standard feature in its top of the line earbuds and also incorporate spatial audio or something similar in its products. When you are competing with the best brands in the world and have the historical advantage of being a niche’ brand there is no reason to cut corners.
The packing seems to lack class and is cheap cardboard and printed material inside the package .
Cost is at par with Apple but finish and packing lacks class and doesn’t give the impression of a top of the line product.
The earbuds on the other hand look sleek and classy .
Why compromise on the packing though?
Am a Bose fanboy and always been updated in owning Bose products and I do hope the frank feedback gets to the powers be in Bose.
To sum it up – a great set of earbuds in terms of sound quality , but not the best!

J’ai acheté ces écouteurs Bose après avoir essayé les Sony WF-1000XM4, que j’avais trouvés très inconfortables, car les bouchons devaient être enfoncés dans le canal auditif à la fois pour maintenir l’écouteur mais également pour bien profiter de la réduction de bruit. Les Bose sont plus confortables car ils se posent sur le canal auditif, mais ne s’y enfonce pas. Ils sont maintenus en place car ils s’inscrivent dans les circonvolutions de l’oreille externe.
En outre, second point positif, la réduction de bruit est très efficace.
Mais malheureusement la qualité sonore est décevante. D’abord il y a beaucoup trop de basse, mais ça peut se gérer via l’equilazer intégré (qui est néanmoins beaucoup plus limité que celui chez Sony). Mais surtout il y a un bruit de fond continu qui est vraiment désagréable, qui s’entend nettement (même dans des conditions bruyantes) entre 2 morceaux de musiques, mais qui s’entend aussi quand on écoute de la musique à bas volume dans des conditions moins bruyantes. J’ai d’abord pensé que c’était lié à la réduction de bruit, mais étonnement quand on la désactive ce bruit de fond est encore plus présent. En pratique, ça rend ces écouteurs quasi inutilisables dans un contexte calme. Ils ne sont utiles que dans un environnement bruyant, en activant la réduction de bruit. Au vu du prix, c’est plutôt inacceptable.
Autre point négatif : l’app mobile (sur Android), qui est sommaire et surtout peu réactive, avec beaucoup de latence entre chaque action.

Like the title says, these are the best earbuds in the market. Great sound quality and noise cancellation. Can’t hear a thing when I have these on in the office and that’s even without any music playing. Great if you want to work in silence or to listen to good tunes!

Já sou um fã da marca e já tive outro fone a tempos atrás deles. Infelizmente na pandemia quebrou e fui para outras marcas. Resolvi retornar e não me decepcionei de novo. Ótimos graves, cancelamento absurdo e para mim, que tem orelha rasa e vivo com problema nesse aspecto, um bom acerto nela. Mesmo fazendo atividade física. Apesar do preço recomendo demais o modelo

J’adore ces oreillettes…
J’ai la malchance d’avoir un bureau exposé aux bruits : du trafic, une usine, des tondeuses, un voisin qui coupe du bois pour les prochains hivers à la scie mécanique, des chiens, des enfants…
Eh bien, je peux enfin ouvrir les fenêtres… Même par temps chaud, je les gardais bien fermées…
Avec ces oreillettes, même si je n’écoute rien, je suis coupé du monde !…
Cela fonctionne parfaitement et c’est probablement un de mes meilleurs achats !…

Jako wieloletni fan Bose bardzo chciałem polubić te słuchawki.
Z plusów
– Ich brzmienie jest fenomenalne, odpowiada mi o wiele bardziej niż te z np. AirPods Pro.
– ANC – nie są to moje pierwsze słuchawki z tłumieniem szumów, ale czegoś takiego nigdy jeszcze nie słyszałem. Nie jest to oczywiście 100% izolacja od otoczenia ale jest temu bardzo bliska, mocno wyprzedzając konkurencję
– Komfort stoi na wysokim poziome. Słuchawki pewnie i wygodnie siedzą w uszach. Jedyny problem jest przy wyciąganiu.
Niestety bardzo szybko wyszły na jaw problemy z oprogramowaniem. Słuchawki nie potrafią utrzymać połączenia zarówno z telefonem jak i między sobą. Czasami muzyka przestaje grać, czasami jedna ze słuchawek łapie opóźnienie lub zmienia głośność.
Problemy nie są winą telefonu – iPhone 13 Pro Max ma wystarczający zapas mocy żeby zapewnić płynny dźwięk.
Sytuacja nie jest tragiczna jeśli słuchawek nie dotykamy – wtedy raz-dwa razy na minute czułe ucho usłyszy małe zaburzenia dźwięku. Jednak jeśli zaczniemy za pomocą słuchawek przełączać muzykę, zmieniać głośność, włączać tryb aware etc – prawdopodobieństwo błędu rośnie z każdym dotknięciem.
Słuchawki grają pięknie i z żalem zdecydowałem o ich zwrocie, decydując się na mniej satysfakcjonujące, ale stabilniejsze Airpods pro 2.
Niestety w tej półce cenowej problemy tej kategorii są niedopuszczalne.
P.s. Aktualizacja oprogramowania tylko pogorszyła sytuację, zamiast ją poprawić.

These earbuds have become like my second set of ears. The initial slight discomfort while using for long hours has disappeared. Have made me at peace with the noisy surrounding. Listening podcasts in Spotify with high-definition audio while earbuds ANC suppressing maximum outside noise makes feels like the podcaster sitting next to me narrating. That’s an altogether fabulous new experience. Needless to say about listening to music. Just mesmerizing. (Phone and computer have 24bit/192 KHz studio quality audio) Really audio input quality matters. Had tweaked the equalizer in playback devices and Bose app to get desired sound. Most TV channels in India has compressed audio. So, the listening experience is average, obviously. It took a while to get used to the earbuds. Once done, that’s a different story. Thank you Bose.

Bought this just for Active noise cancellation as our neighbours are super noisy crackers who are from some other planet X. See I have to shell out Rs. 26,000 for their atrocities.
and Bose quiet comfort earbuds proved to be the handy solution. It worked its magic by blocking 80 – 90% of all sound blastings, including those from big speakers and horns.
I choose this by rejecting apple’s and I am happy with the choice.
Paid big money for the product, but the quietness received in turn in priceless.
ANC: Superb after the immediate firmware auto update but still have to improve – 4 stars
Sound: Big & clear. Amazing – 4 stars (Quality depends on the audio quality in the Bluetooth transmission. Certain mobiles don’t have high resolution Bluetooth audio)
Comfort: Fine for wearing for more than 2 hours at a stretch. Need tight air seal for max ANC. So, its not so super comfortable, naturally. – 3 stars
Connectivity: Ear buds connect quick every time to mobile phone, but not the companion Bose app. And that’s not a problem (for me) – 3 stars
Mic: Have to speak somewhat louder – 3 stars
Touch controls: Need to get used to, but seems okay – 3 stars
Active usable time: As they said, around 4 hours (ANC – all time) – 4 stars
Battery charge speed: Good
Easy to use: Yes. (Use the correct size stability support rubber clip provided or the expensive bud goes to the ground. Speaker magnet gets weaker. Bose kept No.1 stability clip on the bud and that size is small for adults. First thing, that clip has to be changed for the tight fit of ear)
What I enjoy the most: ANC & listening to occasional music even while there is ear deafening noise outside.
Final word: If ANC is your primary concern, BOSE is like a BOSS.

Sound quality is amazing. Bose was famous for good mids and lows but with this they have taken care of good bass along with mids and lows. My wife has sony wf1000xm ear plugs and bass quality is comparable with sony.
I wouod suggest Bose software team to develop or improve the connection over bluetooth. Its buggy at times and I have to forget device and re connect it multiple times.
Good with android phones and mac, but iphone is notorious and gives me issues more often.
Overall, very good product i am very happy.
