First of all,to understand my rating read till last
Awesomeness- 1.sound with bass
2.Mobile application to Control and setup
3.Portability
4. Sound clarity
5. Connectivity (to primary device)
6. Voice is clear even at max volume
Downside-1. Too too expensive. Jbl and many other speakers are available for almost 1/3-1/2 the price of this,with nearly similar sound effect (they can’t match bose). Even though I got it in deal at an unbelievable prices (20k),but even then it’s costly
2. uneasy connecting other devices. If you want to connect next device with Bluetooth,either disconnect the first one,or use primary device “bose music”app to do that. Since it is Bluetooth 5.0,simultaneously connecting multiple devices should be an ease. ( More over,Sony has a method of connecting,wherein when you attempt to connect new device,the previous one automatically disconnects)
3. Major flaw -alexa. It becomes unresponsive after Turning off the device for overnight or more. When called customer care regarding this,they said -ITS FLAW WITH SOFTWARE🙄
4. The bass. Actually this is first bose device. I paid a hefty amount for it,as I had a Divine sound kind of picture in my mind. But the bass was great,but just fell short of expectations. Bass is crunchy and feels some lacking power. I already have a F&D tower speakers (powered) almost 1/3rd price of this,but everytime it begins with bose and ends with F&D 😅
5. There is some vibrating sound in most of songs at high volume. I can’t make out the issue. But doesn’t feel good in such a product
But ultimately its awesome except price tag

Product is good but battery life is very very short.. once fully charged and switched off then without turning on the battery gets discharged within 2 _ 3 days. Very short life of battery.

But 3 problems
1 Battey drainage
2 It hangs and the sound stops for 4-5 seconds
3 Don’t have enough bass as it looks

I own 4 Bose systems prior to buying portable home speaker.
Honestly before buying this I was not very sure about how it will sound due to its small size .
My previous Bose spekars like, wave system, sound touch 30 are bigger in size as compared to this speaker.
When I turned it on for first time I was totally shocked to see how this small speaker can sound like big music system with high quality sound .
It’s a magical speaker and totally worth it .
The bass it can produce will surprise you.
Just keep it in corner of room for more deep bass.
The battery backup is good , It lasts for around 10 hours continuous use.
It sounds great for movie audio when paired with TV over bluetooth.
When I played movie over it infront of friends they thought that it’s playing on home theatre untill I told them that it’s not. It sounds great in movie but it can not produce home theatre like surrounded sound. It can act as your emergency home theatre.
It sounded great in open space picnic area.
Note that in open space bass will be lesser as compared to room. But still it sounds magically great than any other bluetooth speaker available in market.
Hack: in room if you want further more bass then keep it on empty wooden box and enjoy booming deep bass.

It’s Bose, it’s great. Especially if you are a Bose addict. One thing I’ve noticed is that in a open area you don’t feel the bass as much. Always place it on the floor. A closed room it just is too good

Worth every money, deep soothing lows, table rumbling bass. Keep inside any wooden cabinet and see sounds coming to life. Suitable for playing inside your cabin without even your colleagues not knowing about the source of sound and mumbling bass. Best if put inside an engineered woods cabinet, in open space it’s just about a bit more baddy than soundlink 2.

I chose this over Marshall Killburn and revolve+ as I always wanted to have a product which gave me Clarity, Bass and Portability. Previously I owned Bose Revolve+ which is a wonderful product for its category, back but I always missed out on the bass part. When it comes to Marshall I have never been a huge fan of always tweaking the bass and treble track after track to find the perfect balance unlike Bose which automatically adjusts the bass as you increase or decrease the volume. (P.S. the bose music app still allows you to change the treble and bass as per your taste)
I have worked with Bose for few years and the customers always had a feedback that in the portable speakers of Bose, the bass was a big let down which has been completely taken care off by Bose in Portable Home Speaker. The Ease of carrying it around is also a big advantage as it is quite compact as compared to Killburn.
