Great addition to your kit bag. The beauty of this lens is th 1.8 Aperture. You can get some great background blur. So glad I bought this.

everything is awesome about it :
being a 1.8f stop lens:-
it can take proper light in low light situations with lower ISO, hence less or no noise in low light.
defocus is more and looks better, hence subject of interest looks separated in images
Also, the autofocus works smoothly and with minimal or no sound.

Lens arrived new in the original box in an amazon bubble wrap envelope. The only thing I was disappointed with is that there is no warranty with the lens (hence the 4 star review).
As for the lens, it is a really must-have lens, especially if you wanna upgrade from a kit lens or to add to the lens collection even if you are more advanced in photography. It offers the best value proposition out there, a very fast lens without sacrificing on the image quality. The bokeh this lens can give is really awesome. I have uploaded some samples I have taken to test the lens. The samples are taken at night under room light at f1.8 with high ISO to keep that shutter speed fast enough to avoid blurriness. I’ve read many people complaining about the capabilities of this lens (blurry photos, etc.), which is mostly to your settings rather than the lens itself. With the right settings, this lens can help you shoot some really great photos. There is no image stabilization and used with an APSC camera you are already entering at telephoto lens territory at 80mm, and especially when you go to very shallow DOF at f1.8, make sure you watch your shutter speed to avoid blurry photos. Also, it is best if you keep your aperture few stops from the max (f2.2 and up) for optimal image quality and good sharpness, and also for a slightly deeper DOF as the f1.8 is quite often very shallow.
To summarize, this is an amazing lens and if you are reading this, you probably should get one.
Happy shooting!
