Bought two Crompton Super Briz Deco 1200 mm fans (Smoked Brown color) from Amazon after reading the reviews. Fans were delivered on time without any damage (and that too in the middle of COVID lockdown in our region). Packaging was good. Even though it is rainy season, the package was safe. Installation was done by our local electrician. So far (after 3 weeks of use) there are no problems. The speed is good. Noise is tolerable. Overall, it is a value for money fan.
It is not dust resistant. When it gathers dust, it will be clearly visible against the fan’s smoked brown color. However, the dust doesn’t stick to the surface. The fan can be easily wiped clean. Cleaning the fan once in two weeks is advisable. If you are planning to install it on a high ceiling where cleaning is difficult, better go for a different color.
One thing I noticed is that the gold colored circular rim on the outside edge of the central disk is made of thin plastic. Although, right now it is in perfectly good condition, I think, it may break due to the heat generated by the fan over a long period of usage. But, as of now, it is a perfectly fine fan
