Let me give 2 negatives of this headphone which didn’t serve my purpose. Bought this for me and occasionally for my son who gets agitated in noisy environments.
    1. The issue, I found is that after switching on ANC and when you press on right or left side. It gives off a shrill high frequency sound which is extremely unpleasant particularly for my son.
    2. Very bad and muffled call quality. Not sure, if I got a defective piece.
These two factors didn’t justify the price and didnt suit my purpose.

So if you want to spend 3k simply to listen to music with some comfort. (The headphones are soft, flexible and foldable), Then go for it. But there are other brands below this price which are much better.
    This is my honest review.

Sound quality and build quality is good for this price range. I love the build for this headphone it is adequate. Way more similar to somewhat like sony Japanese technology
Call quality is poor, it’s like ok-okay..
There is inbuild anc hybrid technology it’s adorable for this price.
Comfortable to wear but not for long hours because it’s tight and also soft.
    Battery backup is outstanding.

I recently tried out the headphones and I was blown away by the sound quality. The noise-cancellation feature really helped me focus on my work without any distractions. They were also incredibly comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The only downside was the packaging, It’s a shame that the packaging didn’t live up to expectations. But hopefully, the headphones themselves are still working well and providing good sound quality. but I think it’s worth the investment for such a high-quality product.

The Crossbeats Roar are a surprisingly competent pair of Bluetooth headphones for the price they’re sold at. I’m a musician and spend a lot on audio gear as a result, but most of this is for home use and I wanted a pair of Bluetooth headphones that would be easy to just throw on and wear for long periods of time. I was between several options, but settled on Crossbeats, because I have had better experiences with their sound profile and build quality than other competitors.

Out of the box, the comfort of these headphones is absolutely TERRIBLE. For someone with large or irregularly shaped ears, they’re nearly impossible to wear. They’re in the liminal space between over ear and on ear headphones where they sit tightly around the ear very awkwardly. The clamping force was unreasonably high, and the pads were shallow. However, all comfort issues were remedied by swapping out the ear pads with a pair of Brainwavz HM5 pads. These also improved the sound tremendously.

In terms of sound, the headphones sound very narrow and bass-forward – which is a bit weird because I don’t normally associate that sound profile with Crossbeats. After swapping the pads, the sound profile is nearly perfect, though. I suspect the incomplete seal the pads were making around my ears was making the bass muddy and bleed into the other frequencies.

The noise cancelling on the headphones is basically unusable – but this is the case for most over ears at this price range. They suffer from the air pressure issues that plague even much higher end headphones. If you’re looking for noise cancelling at this price range, you’d be better off with in-ears or save up for a pair of Bose or something. I found that with the seal created by the HM5s and listening to music at a reasonable volume, I never really needed noise cancelling, anyways.

I’ve seen some complaints about the volume output of these headphones. I have no idea what those reviewers are talking about. I have been using the headphones for a few days and have never had to raise them above 70% (my standard volume for basically all commercial headphones on my phone).

The microphone on these is adequate. Nothing to write home about, but when switching between my phone mic and these headphones, I’ve gotten several comments that my voice sounds significantly clearer and more audible – so it’s definitely doing something.

One of my big pulls for this purchase over competitors was the more recent version of Bluetooth – everything else in this price range is stuck on a standard of Bluetooth released several years ago. Bluetooth 5.3 has significant upgrades to stability and power management and they’re noticeable coming from Bluetooth 5.0. I can’t say this is something that most consumers will pay close enough attention to notice, but it’s resolved a lot of minor annoyances I have with past versions of Bluetooth for audio.

    To recap:
    – Don’t buy this if you’re looking for good noise cancelling.
    – Don’t buy this if you’re looking for a “brainless buy” – you’re not gonna get a good out of the box experience.
    – Buy this if you’re willing to spend a bit more on pads (or if you have good spare pads from another set of headphones) and get a pair of very good sounding Bluetooth headphones with decent call quality and great connection quality.
