The charger they provided me initially turned out to be defective.
But they replaced it with a new one within just 1 day.

Looks original when called the dell support and checked with the part number they said it is fake and it works though

surprised that it is cheaper than what Dell provides itself.
Please note that this product comes without the power cable (as noted in the description), would have been better if the image did not show it as well.
If you would need the power cable as well, check other products from same seller which includes it for a marginal price increase.

Received my adapter this morning. On opening the package, I realized it to be a non-DELL product. Its definitely not a genuine Dell adapter as the original adapter that came with the laptop and a replacement dell adapter I used before this one both had DELL logo/markings on both the adapter and the cable strap which is missing from on this charger. The only thing mentioning “DELL” is the sticker at the back of the adapter. That is the reason why they have not even shown it in the pictures of the product.
Its working alright to start with, but I am not sure if this will last as long as the original product. Make up your mind before you buy it – or else go for bit expensive but a genuine adapter from other sellers.

The power chord does come along with the adapter. The overall length is more than the original(i.e., the one given at the time of purchasing laptop). There something different about the power plug. It fits properly but sometimes it is so loose. Same for the link between the adapter and power chord. If you hang the charger, both would come apart.
