The charging cable stopped working after a month, the connector cable gets loose and stops working suddenly and will connect again not the quality you expect. My other local charger is still working for more then a year now wich hosted just rs700. Don’t buy it.

This charger lasted me around 2 years – that’s longer than the one that came with my Dell. I am reordering. I bought a different (off brand) one that lasted only about 2 months, so this was a success.
Edit: update – my computer is rejecting the 2nd one I ordered. It slows my computer down, and I continuously get error screens. I compared it to the first one and they are different (numbers do not match up).

After two days of use, when I plug into the switch board, fire is coming out of the plug.
Which seems very dangerous to use.

Great OEM purchase, and it did exactly what I expected it to do–it allowed me to finally locate my lost set the day after I bought it. Doesn’t it always work that way??
I can’t stress enough what peace of mind it is to have a power brick SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED for the laptop rather than making do with anything that will light the charging lamp. It is made to exacting tolerances, and when the warranty was written, it took into account how long the PC would last with the supplied equipment, not third party add-ons.

My computer started acting up but I noticed it didn’t seem to happen when unplugged. I took the maching into the Microsoft store and explained to the technician what was going on. I had to suggest to him that since the problem occurred only when plugged in, maybe he should try another cord to see if that was the issue. He did and it worked fine, but still insisted the machine needed to be checked in, and in any case, they don’t sell the chargers anyway.
Home to Amazon, found this product and figured I’d give it a try before dealing with having to send my computer in for service.
When it arrived, it was identical to the charger that came with my Dell; it’s been a couple of months now and working perfectly! Amazon to the rescue, yet again! 🙂 Definitely recommend if you are in need of a replacement power cord for any of the compatible computers.
