Bought this product a couple of days back and this is my initial impression. \n\nBuild: The laptop has a solid plastic build quality and is quite heavy (u cant expect much from a gaming laptop). The keyboard has a nice tactile feedback and the trackpad is ok. The phantom grey color gives this an old school, conventional looking laptop design. Wish Ryzen edition had the black color.\n\nScreen: The screen is a major setback. You can see screen bleeding around the corners when under a black background. If you see a movie or play a game under dark condition then this affects the viewing experience notably. Also, the color accuracy is not that great.\n\nSound: Has a decent audio output level. \n\nPerformance: This is a beast when it comes to performance. It can handle all the latest AAA game titles, intensive coding with ease.\n\nPorts: There is a miss representation even on the dell site. This laptop variant has only USB 2.0 ports (USB 3.0 come with blue block). Most laptops in this price range has USB 3.0. Please note this while you make the purchasing decision.\n\nThermals: The laptop gets hot when playing games (mine even reached to 90c). The G shift button is pretty useful when it comes to this. It reduced the temp to 75c-80c. Even in idle state, the temp was always ~ 50c. I didn’t see any drop in performance under high temperature so far. Also, one thing to note is that Ryzen chipset in general do get hot a lot and it seems to be normal.\n\nBattery: Battery backup was ~2 hrs under normal usage (browsing, game/movie downloads) with screen refresh rate set to 120hz and screen brightness set to 70%. You can get more if u reduce brightness further and the refresh rate to 60hz.\n\nOverall, this is a pretty good laptop for an all around performance. I will post my in-depth experience in the coming months.

Mine gives 5-6hrs of battery backup under normal usage\nTip for new buyers – as soon as you get the laptop, update the drivers, especially install the BIOS update right away if you want good battery backup and performance
