I use this monitor with MBP and the features are great and it is a perfect match for my MBP. Best I like is the USB 3 hub which is missing in the other models I was looking at. Worth the money.

My first impression when i opened the BOX looks and feels solid premium feel. Default setup was good out of the box nice upgrade from my Dell U2412M. U2414H has the ultra-thin bezel design more suited for multi-screen setup. Just missing DVI connectivity. I give 5 Star\n\nFor more in-Depth Review google TFT Central will help you cant mention there website here :p

I have three devices that I wanted to connect to a monitor at the same time; my Macbook Pro Retina, my Sony PlayStation 3, and my Google Chromecast. So, I had to buy a 24-inch monitor with glare-free screen, thin bezels, multiple HDMI/Display Ports, USB ports, and an audio-out port.\n\nAfter some research, I narrowed down to the Dell UltraSharp U2414H, the Dell UltraSharp U2412H, and the Asus MX239H. There were not many reviews for the Asus MX239H, so I went with the popular choice of Dell UltraSharp series. The Dell UltraSharp U2412H (1920 x 1200 pixels) has more brightness and slightly more pixels than the U2414H (1920 x 1080 pixels), but it didn’t look as much futuristic, and had fat bezels around the screen. As I wanted a dual-monitor setup in the future, I finalised the U2414H as it has narrow bezels.\n\nI bought this monitor for 22K. 🙁 Flipkart charged around 2-3K higher than other online stores (Infibeam was offering it for around 19K).\n\nI am writing this review after using the monitor for more than two months. It has great viewing angles and accurate colours. Thanks to the matt finish, there are no reflections on the screen at all, which also means that 250 cd/m2 brightness is enough for pleasurable viewing experience. There are plenty of modes to suit every type of content; movies, games, text, and multimedia. Thanks to audio output port, I am able to route audio of my music/videos from my OnePlus One or any other Android device through Chromecast, to my 2.1 channel speakers.\n\nI’ve played some games on this monitor through my PS3 and I didn’t notice any ghosting or response time lag during my experience. I can adjust the height, or tilt and turn the monitor in any angle that I want, thanks to adjustable stand.\n\nIf you really want a brighter monitor, go with the U2412H, as it has a brightness of 300 cd/m2, but for multi-monitor setup, the U2414H is much better. The U2414H is the perfect monitor for me, though Flipkart needs to reduce the price of the monitor a bit. I think 18K is the perfect price for the monitor.

I had been looking for a good monitor for my photography process. I ordered this one after researching some other models. Initially i was looking for u2412m after reading the review but after researching i found U2414H is better than 2412m.\nI am very happy that i got the monitor within two days after my order even the shipping date was 7 days from my ordering date. Thanks to Flipkart for shipping fast!\nShipment and packing is too good. \nNo Power and HDMI cable as all others wrote!\nMonitor performance is good, processed around 25 photos after i got the monitor, definitely there is an huge difference in processing.\nColor is looking natural. Brightness and Contrast is good. Picture quality is good.\nMonitor Tilt/swivel/rotate is too good, you can adjust however you want.\n\nIt is better and worth to go for this monitor.

I love this monitor. Been using it for 1 month and is totally satisfied with the purchase.\n\nPros –\n1. Superb brightness. Im using the screen, for reading, at less than 40% brightness and 50% contrast of its actual capacity. \n2. Matt finish makes it look even better. You can place this monitor against any light source without much glare.\n3. Sharp display and absolutely no color bleeding.\n4. The best part is its bezel(borders). There is barely 1inch of border on its 3 sides (top, left, right). Its very convenient if you’re planning to use dual monitor setup.\n5. It can be rotated vertically 180 degrees which makes it useful if you want to read lengthy content.\n6. Solid build. It doesn’t sway or move if the table shakes, which makes it very stable.\n\nCons –\n1. Its buttons are not that easy to use. But its not really a huge issue since one does not make adjustments every now and then.\n2. Its costly, very costly if you compare with competitors. But the quality it provides compensates for that price.\n\nGreat product. Worth every penny.

Got this monitor delivered from flipkart and here are my views after a few days of use.\n\nFirstly, this was a great and required upgrade for me from my old TFT Monitor. While it still works, watching new 1080p movies was just not so great on that. Now with the new HD monitor watching high quality movies & T.V Soaps is just unbelivable.\n\nThe on-screen display is far better than most. The four touch-sensitive buttons on the front work reliably, and although they aren’t labelled, context-sensitive icons pop up on screen to show which button you need to press. The menus provide easy access to all the features, and it’s easy to tweak the brightness, contrast and picture presets and toggle settings on and off.\n\nWhat is particularly striking about this new model is the design, and Dell have gone for an ultra-thin side bezel, making it ideal for multi-screen setups. Dell U2414’s matte, anti-glare finish now stretches almost all the way to the monitor’s edges, where the smallest possible gap between displays is called for. The U2414H’s bezel measures 6mm thick and 16mm on its bottom edge.\n\nAt the back, Dell has packed in plenty of connectivity. In addition to the DisplayPort input, there’s mini-DisplayPort, a full-sized DisplayPort throughput (this will require a DisplayPort 1.2-capable graphics card) and twin HDMI inputs (one of which I am using). There’s also a four-port USB 3 hub, with one port located at the monitor’s back panel for easier access. Note that when I connected my HDMI from graphic card to monitor I had to manually select the input through the monitor buttons on the front panel. Once done it was a visual treat to watch HD movies or when I tried NFS game.\nOverall a great monitor which comes at a good price range.
