Epson WorkForce M105 Single Function WiFi Monochrome Inkjet Printer

Using this printer for past two days. Its a good printer.
Prints very fast infact faster than laser printers. And the quality of the print is too good. We always considered laser printers were best but this printer is very much better than laser printers in terms of print quality and cost wise.
It is monochrome single function printer. Meaning, it only prints and in black only.
Dont fall for wifi connectivity, its actually useless. You will need router and real networking knowledge to configure, and it never worked for me. But luckily i got saved by google cloud printing.
I got an old stock mfg one yrs back. Even the box was faded and looking dirty. And im totally disappointed with Flipkart as there was no packing at all. It came with printer box only lying upside down inside the minivan and delevery man asked me to go and take the printer from inside.

Thanks to Epson for bringing in Ink Tank Printers. Prior to this we were being looted by so called original Ink cartridge companies or we had to use Laser printers.
Pros:
This printer can produce copies for less than 20 paise using Genuine Epson Ink.
Print outs from this printer (using supplied pigment ink) are comparable to Laser print outs.
It uses very little electricity to print.
It can be connected with USB cord (supplied) to a Computer or used on WiFi network. (Through a Router)
It can be kept at any convenient place in the building premises as it will function on WiFi.
It works very well on Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10. Will check on MacOS and update this review.
This printer can function on small UPS during power cuts.
Two Genuine Epson Ink bottles are supplied with the new printer. One full size bottle 140Ml Ink and another half size. Together, it can print more than about 6;000 pages.
Maintenance costs are very less.
It is built well and if used correctly will last a long time.
Cons:
Epson M105 printer is a single function printer.
It can print only Black Colour.
Manual Duplex printing.
Upfront costs are a little expensive.
No Ethernet connection!
Not supported on Android/IOS phones, thus cannot print from mobile.

I am using Epson M100 printer from last about 5 years for my office use as a main printer on Ethernet. I continue to use it.
Prior to this I was using HP 1020 Laser Jet printer, which was purchased during the year 2005-06. It is still functional. Now, using it as a backup printer.
Epson M105 printer will supplement the Epson M100 printer.
With my personal experience I can say that both Epson M100 and Epson M105 are reliable and worthy printers whose total cost of ownership during its working life is very low.
