Eureka Forbes Aquaguard UTC RO+UV+MTDS Water Purifier from Eureka Forbes,8-litres,Biotron Technology,White

I am using Eureka Forbes ro from Las 6-7 yrs and really satisfied about their quality 👌

The filter needed a pressure reducing value and it had to be set at 1 bar pressure whereas the product is rated at 3 bar. Anything above 1 bar and the outside filter (cracked) + connecting pipes started leaking.

Otherwise a good machine, I got prompt and efficient service too.

I brought this product from Eureka forbes on Amazon and it has been giving me constant issues right from installation onwards. I needed a UTC purifier since my kitchen had limited space and ended up buying eureka forbes since it was a supposedly known and reputed brand which doesn’t live up to its name.
Here are some observations :

Pros :

1. Saves kitchen space : All the filter unit can be placed under the cabinet so it saves space on kitchen slab or wall
2. Easy to use : Usage of the product is easy like a regular water supply/ tap and since it’s at kitchen slab level, hence you don’t have to draw water from a height

Cons :

1. Product Installation : The technician from the company didnt install the product properly and after 2 weeks it started leaking. The product installation provided in NCR region is atleast pathetic

2. Focus on upselling : At the time of installation, the technician tries to sell additional accessories and the company is trying to get every penny out from the customer.

3. Product issue : Product leaks again and again which even led to water seepage throughout the kitchen wall. Even after 2 complaints, this problem comes back

4. Pathetic post sales service : The company has the worst service support possible. The technician didn’t visit even after a week of raising complaint or a call back. Need to call company again and again but not getting any service support. The call center exec promises resolution in 24 – 48 hours but no call back. I’ve been trying to get this fixed for more than a month now but no support whatsoever

Overall : Would not recommend to buy from Eureka Forbes due to product issues and pathetic post sales service. UTC water purifiers are however a good space saver option for smaller kitchens

Flow decreased and stopped after four months. The service person visited twice and each time just cleaned the filter and put it back. The second time it stopped working after a day. When called, the service person initially said they would come. After a week on the phone and spending a small fortune on bottled water, the service person finally gave me my options. They claim that the “filter kit” is to be replaced for 4,500/-. This is not covered by the warranty. The “better” option, according to this “service” person is to purchase their extended warranty (you knew that this was coming). The extended warranty gives me one “free” filter kit. The warranty cost is 5,500/- per year. So if the filter fails again in the next one year, I get to pay them 4,500/- for the filter kit.
Bottom line is this company makes shoddy products that fail in a couple of months. They don’t stand behind their products, they don’t honour the warranty, and their service people push expensive additional warranties.
Stay away, and don’t touch them with a 100 foot barge pole.
