Eureka Forbes Magna HD Ultraviolet Water Purifier – 7L

Dont believe the sale person gimmicks. It is one of the worst product in the market. Our nightmare started when we decided on buying the product just by the sales person (Mr. Mahesh Patil from Bengaluru Eurekha forbes) recommendation. The sales person after collecting the order just disappeared. There was no product for days and no response from the sales person. After countless call to him and the customer care, the product was delivered without the receipt. Another round of calls, we got the bill with different serial number !!. Finally the product was installed, within 2 days water started leaking. Service person said as the pressure is more (we stay in 2 floor apartment in 14 storey building), the problem has come, he reduced the water speed level. After 2 days voila, the product is leaking again. Now the water level valve was damaged !!! This time the service person said to put pressure valve which will cost 500/- more..!!! i am asking them to return the product and asked for refund…nothing has happened as of now…fighting a big battle….but be careful when you plan to buy this product…its not worth your energy, time and money.

I Dont Know how to describe its wastefulness, so the least i came up is the Headline that you see above, i bought this piece of crap 18000/-Rs and in 6 months got serviced for about 15 times and finally i am using it as a dustbin now.

In my desperation to get a water purifier installed I did not do enough research online and ended up naively accepting the sales person’s advice while choosing my water purifier. Eureka Forbes as a company has incentivised all its sales and service staff to dupe the customer into purchasing these kind of scam products and then selling overpriced AMCs that cover nothing.

I had bought this product directly from company at 19K rs which was sold to me as a wonder product by the sales person. The product stopped working after 6months, after several followups and escalations the company sent someone to repair which took 2 days to set up. Ever since then in last 2 years I have ended up spending nearly 10K more repairing this product, it breaks down every 2-3 months and somehow every time the AMC or warranty does not cover the component which breaks down.

In the latest breakdown episode of my Dr Aquaguard, the service engineer tried selling me the 11000 rupee 2year AMC by saying the PCB is not working and it’s not covered in my AMC but if I am stupid enough to purchase the AMC he will give me the 3000rs PCB free.

Personally I used from 2016 . From starting onwards ,problem started.Drain pipe keep on dripping after power switched off.company technician came one by one but they won’t fixed it ( new one.).Finally said it’s a faulty manufacturers fault.but can’t replace.dont take AMC in any appliances .just eye wash.Anyway they r going to tell cooked up story”this is not covering under AMC”.Expenses not going to end after purchasing .we need to replace filter every year or 2 .total filter in my model 4 (dr Aquaguard magna hd uv model).
Total cost for replacement all filter around 5000rs.After replacement ,wires and everything get loose after opening machine first time, overflow water from machine.Then they tell sensor s not working .we need to replace for 600rs .but still water dripping problem won’t stop from starting onwards.most of technician s 💰 money minded.so keep on telling something “tds 100 s good water need to replace ,blah blah blah….better get can water.otherwise pls buy normal RO with simple carbon filter.easy to replace with outside filter instead of fancy one.never recommend Aquaguard for enemy too… headache…
