I have spent nearly a week with this watch. My wife has fire-boltt visionary so I could compare both watches very well.
Here are the pros and cons…
PROS:
1. Well designed rugged watch. Not too bulky, extremely balanced. Top Materual is metal and very elegant. The bottom part is quality plastic which is durable. Scratch proof glass makes it even better. I have gshock mudmaster which is a real rugged watch and is very bulky, so I know.
2. During call, there is a button on the screen to switch call to phone. This feature is extremely handy.
3. IP68 water resistance.
4. Brightness is very good. I never have any problem under broad sunlight as well.
5. Killer 600 mah battery. Will last for 4-5 days even during heavy usage.
6. Speaker loudness is so good.
7. The silicon strap is so good and comfortable.
CONS:
1. TFT display – extremely bad for 2023. Screen looks like old mobile phone display. You can literally see the pixels on the screen. Never settle for anything below amoled. It’s a major deal-breaker.
2. Average software for mobile. Records only present day tracking data. You will not see any history for past days.
3. There seems to be some distortion when the speaker volume is maximum.
4. Only 20 contacts are allowed to be stored.
5. Software glitch in watch – when I dial a number from contact list, it calls some other contact, sometimes.
6. Sometimes it tends to lose connection with mobile bluetooth, although it shows to be connected.
7. Limited watch faces and they could be far more attractive.
8. It shows weather forecast but you never get to set the location. It is a very basic feature.
9. It’s TFT, so no always-on display.
10. Raise to wake functionality is very slow.
11. No calculator.
Final verdict: Do not buy this watch. Go for cobra if you want rugged, or invincible plus if you want premium.
