Ordered on 16th Jun, delivered on 28th Jun. No one turned up for installation for 7 days despite repeated reminders. They had gone on 4 days holiday for id.

No instructions from Godrej as to you need salt detergent and rinse aid.
I had already read about that so had purchased the starter kit.

The machine can’t be connected to usual tap as there is no adapter provided like in washing machine. So the man coming for installation did nothing.

So I had to change the tap.
Now after changing the tap no one has turned up for installation. Now it is more than 3 weeks and the machine is lying idle in the house.

No one should buy any equipment from godrej. I shall advice to go for reputed brands like LG Samsung who provide great after sales service.

This is THE WORST SERVICE I have ever got in my 30 years of married life.

Purchased this dishwasher about 5 months ago. Now I feel qualified to write a review which may be considered most authentic and not just a first impression.
First a market research led me to look about the most established brands like Siemens, Voltas, Bosch etc. Then a quick round to shops for physical inspection took place.
I noticed the following,
1. Most of the dishwashers are actually made in Europe, particularly in Turkey. So their manufacturing quality is more or less same.
2.12 place versus 13 or 14 place doesn’t appear to make any difference in real size. One can easily choose a 12 place one without loosing any comfort or utensils capacity. One can easily save some money by choosing a 12 place machine. Godrej calls itself as 13 place dishwasher. I really can’t make out the definition.
3. Number of wash cycles do make a difference. Most of the machines come with 5-6 wash programs. You can choose a particular program depending on the state of utensils. The program with high temperature water and steam drying gives the best results but takes about 2 hour plus. Most of the reputed brand dishwashers have comparable specifications for this.
4. Water consumed by most of the dishwashers is under 10-12 liters per wash load which is about 75-80 utensils including spoons, forks, bowls, plates, frying pans etc. each counted as one.
5. Each machine has very similar build quality and design. Atleast, I couldn’t make out any significant difference.
6. Now coming back to Godrej. This machine I couldn’t physically inspect in any showroom. But Godrej had been a brand that I had been patronizing for cupboards, furnitures and refrigerator. So, one can understand my brand loyalty. But, dishwasher hmmm! it’s a different ball game altogether. None of my friends had any experience with this product. To be honest, they were surprised to hear that Godrej had started making dishwashers too. So no help in decision making by virtue of experience or recommendation.
7. I had a Godrej refrigerator which I was using for last 10 years without any problem whatsoever. That established Godrej credentials in electronic and electrical domain. First point ticked.
8. Godrej is already pioneer in metal works so one can safely assume a great metallic body which will still shine after many years. The steel alloy composition and subsequent paint work is going to be top notch considering Godrej qualty control and manufacturing process. So another point ticked in favour.
9. The cinch was the number of programs. Godrej came out winner in this aspect by a mile. They understand Indian cooking style well. Rest other brands are following only the European and American food habits and style.
Godrej provides three unique wash programs
A. Quick 15 min program for a quick rinse. Good when you take out unused utensils from your cupboard.
B. Quick 30 min program for less dirty/ oily utensils.
C. The best and mostly used by me is a 55 min wash program. This is not only great in terms of power consumption but also the wash quality is excellent. It also provide you the cleaned dishes in the shortest possible time compared to any other dishwasher in India.
10. Coming to price. It was definitely not cheap compared to other brands. Rather it was costlier. But, Godrej had always been pricey. So a neat 48 k went out for this product.
11. Warranty period is same as other brands.
12. Only worry was, I was going to be the first customer. So was I going to be a guinea pig 🐖🐖
This aspect was a little discomforting. But, my experience with Godrej brand overcame the apprehension.
13. Eventually, I placed the order on Amazon, which happened to be the only place where one could buy it (not even on Godrej online store).
There was a small 10% discount for the credit card payment and that was it. Ofcourse Godrej offered a complimentary ‘smart switch’ which I had no idea about.
14. The delivery was on time and the packing was great.
15. Godrej service people who are supposed to come for installation, called up a little late and demonstration took place a little late than I had expected.
16. The Godrej team is also relatively less experienced in this product line but they did a reasonably good demonstration and the gaps in their show/ knowledge was made up by reading the product manual. This is one aspect Godrej can do improve but can be discounted considering their service team is also having their first exposure. So be patient with them.
17. The smart switch is OK but not really required in my city Mumbai where the power supply is very regular and stable. In some other cities it may be useful. Anyway, any gift is most welcome. The build quality of this switch is not so good and one day after 4 months of continuous use it short circuited. When I opened it up, I noticed that the neutral wire was touching the phase stud. Due to heating, the insulation had melted and caused the short circuit. I have repaired it myself, but my wife has stopped using it. Dishwasher continues to work without it.
18. Another aspect, Godrej can improve upon is the product manual. It is printed on newspaper quality paper with poor print and even inferior binding quality. Information can be explained in a little better and easier way. Not everyone is techno savvy. Personally, I didn’t have any problem but definitely my wife couldn’t have understood it easily.
19. Now one more area where Godrej has already filled the gap, although much after I bought this machine. That is the dishwasher stand. This machine being a bit heavy by itself and after a load of solid steel or ceramic or glass utensils it becomes even heavier. Normal wasing machine stands are not suitable for these Machines. So go for custom made heavy duty stands or buy the one that Godrej offers now. So this explains they can feel the customer pulse.
20. Last but not the least, when you buy a dishwasher, you want to use it almost immediately not after a week or fortnight. But in this case, first you have to run around to get a special fitting for your water tap. Then order the detergent, softener and polisher on line. Wait for the delivery and then call the demonstrator and then only the real work starts. I had to wait for about 7-8 days. Godrej can definitely include the fitting, detergent in their standard delivery packing list along with the dishwashers. This way the customer can start using it immediately. Some other companies do the same.
At the end, we have been using this machine continuously, atleast once a day. It is super silent and has given stellar performance.
My recommendation is to just go for it if it fits your pocket.🤗🤗

In last six month use, repaired 4 times and now not working since one month. Warranty is just name sake as service center doesn’t respond properly…overall it’s a dubba product
