It’s really good to have.\n\nFor normal person you can play trivia quiz games, set reminders, do a broadcast, listen to music, use it as translator. \n\nYou can not (simply) configure it to fetch data from your mobile like notifications or shared location from maps.\n\nAs it’s intelligence is on Cloud, so you really don’t need to worry about upgrad until really very nice hardware upgrade comes up, which will definitely take good time.\n\nIt’s speaker is good, (personal view) and it pretty much good in identifying your voice.\n\nAbout remembering context of your talk, it do its job, not really good. but I think still best in market, ANyways it will improve as google improges with time.

Pretty good product, packed with alot of hidden features\nIt supports hindi as an secondary language, which makes it easier for my family members to use it.\nAlso the speaker quality is great and is adjustable in the equalizer according to personal liking\nBUT if you are buying this and want to use it for listing to songs for most of it, then make sure you have youtube premium subscription because you cant use it for free, also other free music platforms like spotify dont have all of the songs whereas youtube premium covers them all!

Mic quality needed to be improved, rest all good.\n\nMuch better than Alexa in terms of sound quality, choice of music being auto-played, flexibility to synchronize with Android mobile, and other google products.\n\nNetflix, YouTube, and Spotify are exclusively available on Google nest mini.

This is the first time that I have used a Google smart speaker extensively, (I spent a couple minutes with my aunt’s Google home, the original one) and after a few days of having this little guy, I must say I am impressed.\n\nThe packaging was simple and straight to the point. Inside came the speaker, a round power cable and a quick start guide. I really like the look and feel of the device. The speaker is round, and the cover looks and feels like a cloth-like material and I would be surprised if it really wasn’t cloth. On the bottom of the speaker there is a small notch that allows you to mount the Nest mini onto a wall, this is a great addition to have as you’re now not limited to place it on your desk or counter. Also, there is a physical switch that allows you to turn off the microphone. I also appreciate that it has touch controls on the top underneath the cloth. It allows you to play/pause in the center while on either end a tap will allow you to set the volume to your preference, with the LED lights on top indicating the volume level\n.\nWhen it comes to audio, this little guy puts out much more sound than I thought it would, to be specific, I mean it got much louder than I thought it would. Also, the bass feedback is pretty good especially when your place it against an appropriate surface. Loudest is not the only thing though, the sound comes through clearly and there is very little distortion at high volumes. I threw various genres at it, and all sounded reasonably well. This speaker isn’t necessarily aimed purely at listening to music, so keep that in mind when you look at these.\n\nSetting this up with my phone (android) was straightforward and easy. Download the Home app and it picks it up and sets it up quickly. After that you’re ready to use Google Voice Assistant, which is better than ever. With a quick “Hey google” you can begin asking it a plethora of things as well asking it to play music from any of your music streaming apps (i.e. Pandora, Spotify, YouTube music). Another thing I must point out is that the Nest mini is very good at picking out my voice from surrounding noise, such as from a TV or from another speaker playing in the room. This must be a result of the mic combination within the Nest mini as well as Google’s software for voice recognition, well done Google.\n\nIf you’re looking for a little companion for a small space that will be a great voice assistant, the Nest mini will be a great buy, whether for someone new to smart speakers or someone who already has a google ecosystem set up at home and wants to add a new speaker to another room.

Not much useful because of restrictions.\n1. Cannot connect to mobile using bluetooth. It’s connected via wifi only.\n2. Cannot be used for calling purpose in India. You can use it for call as loudspeaker for calling.\n3. It doesn’t contain battery, only work when you have electricity, can’t even use power bank to play music.\n4. Works for YouTube premium subscription only. You can play YouTube songs directly or indirectly from mobile also.\n5. Not comfortable to change song on ganna, wync audio app.\n6. Problem in connection with smart Tv which I purchased along with Google Nest.\n7. Made In China\n\nWell quality of product is very good but to use this you need to spend more money on subscriptions and other. They are using marketing strategy to earn more money.

For Beginners in summary.\n- This is a device with a speaker and mic …. acts as a voice based search engine and much much more.\n- YES you need Wifi and Electricity for this to work. \n- No you do not need to switch on your phone every time. Phone / (Phone Wifi) is just required once to conflgure and set up the device as the UI for this device is the app called Google Home.\n- Who should buy … people who are fluent in voice commands / People who have a lot of android app based appliances around (E.g Lights / Smart TV’s Fridges / AC etc ) For others it would be a costly toy that speaks back anything you ask for.\n\nReview \n- Function wise Far Better than Alexa n for a simple reason .. Google is the leader in search engine.\n- Looks wise, I give Alexa full marks \n- Sound is Far better, Mic reception is good and sensitive ….. command recognition its 80% hit with 20% miss. should improve with use as the device \

Not worthy , I strongly suggest not to purchase.it only works when Power is on, we have to keep power plug allways on,we can’t use this device when Power goes off.no USB cable option it only works with Bluetooth connectivity .No return option policy for this device.

It’s good smart speaker. But I see one cons \n\nThere should be Blue tooth as well where we can just connect through blue tooth and play songs only through mobile.\n if the wifi is not working just looks like waste.
