The product is good but the installation service are worst from Havells. The customer care is such irresponsible team. Finally I installed on my own . I got a call after 12 daya of raising complaint . have raised this through twitter also but no use , please be careful of Havells services

This product is very difficult to install. Havells sent an untrained installation guy who took almost 3 hrs to install the fan, then the fan didn’t work, he left and never came back. I had to unistall the fan myself and thanks to Amazon’s great return policy I could at least get a replacement. This time luckily Havells sent a trained installation guy who could do the job well. Overall the fan has great look, works well, little noisy at high speed. Buy this fan if you are ready to take all the unnecessary hussles.

The finishing of the fan is excellent . The lights are great and as expected. It is value for money , only if you are getting it at a discount off at least 30% .
But assembly of the fan is a very cumbersome process , especially since there are no video tutorials by HAVELS .
The fan is making a sound as though it is rubbing against something .
Two of the four bulb holders had to be replaced by me for the lights to work , which I found out only After completion of installation process .
NOTE : It is a non returnable item, and For the exchange of the fan , you have to completely Dismantle a Ceiling fan , Repack it , Wait for pick up , Further wait for replacement piece to arrive by courier, Reassemble the new fan , and finally enjoy the Looks . Of course , pay twice for the assembly of One fan , and hope that the technician is generous enough not to charge you for the dismantling of the fan also ….
Although being such a costly fan , HAVELS has done petty cost cutting by giving very cheap Aluminium Bulb Holders instead of Brass ones . The connecting wires supplied are off very low gauze .
Another problem is that one of the 3 screws used to tighten the blades with the main Motor of the fan can’t be done after hanging the fan from the ceiling support , neither after fixing the designer blade clamps. So the fan can be hung only after complete final assembly of the fan .
The length of the blades should have been around 1400 mm instead of 1200 mm , giving a slightly disproportionate look to such an expensive designer fan .

This is a good antique looking fan by Havells. Cost effective – when compared to other brands offering similar products.
Havells offers free home installation as well.
