The under-light fans look pretty good. However, they are almost useless in Indian conditions unless the AC is also turned on along with the fan. This is because the maximum RPM for most of them is about 200. For the regular ceiling fans it is higher than 310. Because of this, the air flow is not good enough. I had bought a Veneto fan and to my dismay found that the speed was too low to be useful. I have retuned the fan. I give credit to Havells for taking the fan back, though it was an uphill battle.
Nowhere, the speed is mentioned in the catalogue. I believe it is a mis-representation. The dealer should mention the specification of the fan, especially when these are so expensive(>18K)
