The louvers are fixed, I don’t understand why they say gravity shutters. If you want louvers to close electrically, go for Havells Ventilair DX-WE.

I ordered this product twice through Amazon. Both times, it was received on time and packaged well. However, on both occasions the fan did not work on connecting to 220 V supply.
Wonder why ? Its just a simple fan !!
N.B – Its a Chinese product imported by Havells India. The answer probably lies in its maker’s capabilities or otherwise…
Kudos to Amazon for promptly accepting to replace the product first time and second time – return /cancel the order with a promise to do a complete refund.

It is Nice and compact , but I wanted something with mesh or insect detterant mechanism, as I am facing problem with my current exhaust that mosquitos come from it in the bathroom. Which is a big minus.
I returned this and bought the Usha fan with mosquito mesh deterrent. Can check it out
