Here are some Pros –

1) Purchased 90 cm version of this as we have 3 burner gas stove,30 cm version was smaller for that and was unable to suck all the smoke and fumes. 90 cm turned out to be just perfect for it.
2) It has 1200 m3/hr Airflow , collects All the fumes instantly.
3) It has curved glass top which is really easy to clean.
4) Comes with a measuring water jar to auto clean the chimney and oil collector cup.
5) It has Metallic Blower inside and SS Baffle Filters
6) It has one touch control panel with Fan button, 2 buttons for different speeds ,timer , Energy efficient LED lamp button ,Auto clean button and lastly ON/OFF Switch
7) It comes with 1 year Comprehensive warranty and 5 Years on Motor .
8) It really makes our kitchen smoke free in no time .Our kitchen’s roof is just as new as the day we installed the chimney.
9) It has auto clean feature .Just fill the normal water in the jug provided with the chimney and pour it the hole provided on top of the chimney for auto clean purpose.Now switch the auto clean button and within a minute its done.

Here are some Cons –

1) It is a little noisy at speed 1 and a bit more on speed 2. But that is the case with almost all the chimneys .
2) We didn’t get oil collector tray so have to purchase it from store for 450 Rs.
3) Auto clean is for inside cleaning but you have to clean the baffle filters once a month.That’s a tricky job to clean oil residue and which is same for every chimney.
Overall its a good purchase .

Review after 3 years of use. Working fine. No issue yet. Duct quality is cheaper. Installation chargers are separate.

The products works well. However, self cleaning specification is misleading. Only areas beyond the filters are steam cleaned while baffles need to be cleaned. The baffle filters are difficult to clean. The two sides of the baffle are riveted together, unlike the filters I had on my Faber chimney, where the two sides are press fit and thus easy to take apart and clean. Thus, many areas inside the Hindware baffles are difficult to access.
Think twice before you take an AMC with their authorized service centers. AMC sold to me included one deep cleaning and two normal cleanings. After taking the money, they give you hard time with scheduling. Raised the complaint with Hindware and their “senior” executive assigned a junior to the task, who promptly informed me that one cleaning is done and no more. Thus, one cleaning effectively cost me close to Rs 1800! Consider that other companies charge 250 – 500 per cleaning. Huge overhead with time waste pursuing them

I was looking for a decent Chimey with at least 1000M3/hr suction and with lots of hesitation I went to buy with Hindware. I must say, I am really impressed with the product. They are well packed and all the parts are laminated so as to avoid scratches. The buttons are feather touch, it has clock and it can even auto-clean itself! They are aesthetically very pleasing comparing to other brands and at a very reasonable price.
About the Chimney: They are well built with clean finish. The fan inside the chimney is not plastic but metal and black painted. The suction is quite good but little noisy as it runs really fast! They have 2 LED lighting the gas table and is quite sufficient that you could cook during night without having to switch on your kitchen lights.
These require external ducts and it comes with extensible hose to connect to the outside. They come as a built unit and if you could screw on your walls, installation is quite easy!
