Hindware Sabina SS 60 Wall Mounted Chimney

Great looking KITCHEN CHIMNEY. Works very well. A bit noisy but only when you are near. Works well and looks great.\nOnly issue is the the installation as there is no attachment for holding the exhaust pipe from outside and the installation person was not able to help in that.\nOverall worth a while.

Overall appearance and performance is good.\n\nThe first installation was a total disaster. The technician knew nothing of the product. He even adviced to throw away the loose supplied parts – motor flaps, oil drip tray and other parts confirming that those were packing material!!\n\nI had to contact the installation company owner who understood what had happened and sent an experienced and knowledgeable person the second time who did a neat and professional job.\n\nThe customer care personnel were in regular touch with me to enquire of the installation progress and my feedbacks which was a good experience\n\nPros:\n1) After frequent use of this chimney over the last two months, I am satisfied with the performance of the product. Has enough suction even at the slowest speed to keep the kitchen free of fumes and smell.\n\n2) The white LED lights provide sufficient cool light over the stove area.\n\n3) Stylish appearance with curved glass \n\nCons:\n\n1) There is a vibration and whining noise when running in the second speed. It comes from the baffle filter vibrating in second speed and stops when the filter is supported or touched by hand.\n\n2) The curved glass has uneven gaps with the metal housing. No gaps on the left side and large gaps on the right side. Not possible to be fixed even by tightening the fixing screws and by other adjustments by the technician. This is not acceptable at all for aproduct for which I pay such a high cost. (have a video showing this but Flipkart website is not allowing video files upload) \n\n3) The 6 inch dia plastic pipe provided with the chimney is declared and non usable by the installation team. Had to by their aluminium pipes instead at their offered rate.\n\n4) the 1 foot by 1 foot square acrylic plate charged at exorbitant cost of Rs250 per piece. \nThe total installation cost (fixed labour and material) came to 35% of the product cost which is seeming too unrealistic\n\nIt will be appropriate for Hindware to work out a reasonable installation cost package with their installation franchisees\n\nUpdate after 3 months very minimal usage: the light switch has failed. Unable to keep light on.

Worst experience with Installation engineer/person.they charge 590 rs only for drilling 2 holes and hang this chimney on it. If I say in clear words that is the total installation. After that the person pressurize me to buy there own duct pipe,that cost Rs 1000,When I say NO, use the pipe that comes with the chimney. These persons says, it is short/ it’s quality is poor/this pipe will not work/you must have to replace after some time etc., these are the tactics and falls information that will be provided by their so called service engineer. Lastly untill u purchase their duct pipe,they will not make proper fixing/installation of chimney. \n I am not happy with the hindware and their chimney installation procedure. Sorry but it’s true, it was a pathetic experience.

Very nice product, doing a fabulous job, aditionally, the LED light of the chimney is also very nice and effective

It’s wow in this price… if you are buying then buy 6 inch aluminium pipe also. You will get this pipe in 6-800 rupees only but this third party who ll come for installation/demo ll charge you 1200 rupees for same pipe.
