Estoy ocupando esta computador desde 1 semana y estoz muy contento. Es de verdad muy rapida. Lo unico es que la bataria dura meno de lo que dice, pero ya me lo imaginaba. Pero es una muz buena computadora.

I purchased this machine and was very optimistic. When I received it, set up was very easy, picture quality was great, VERY easy to navigate and worked smoothly and quickly for the first 3 weeks. When I bought it, the laptop came with Windows 9 installed on it: I had no trouble multitasking, playing basic games (SIMS 4) and browsing the web or writing word documents ran smoothly. My kids even used it to do some google classroom assignments and play educational games online.
The problem came when the machine updated to Windows 10. I had put off the update but it kept prompting and then automatically updated one night. The next day, I got an error message “boot configuration data is missing” then the machine would sound like it was running (I could hear the fan sound) but the screen was blank. A co-worker attempted to download an earlier Windows version and re-install but it immediately crashed. Couldn’t see anything on the screen in order to do anything. I was told that the Core i3 simply is too old to support the updates and that it would continue to crash.
I would have returned and traded for the exact same model with a newer processor but that wasn’t an option. Luckily I was within the 30 day return period. I recommend keeping the box and manuals etc. if you decide to give this a try.

I purchased this laptop on March 1, 2022, which was described on Amazon as “new.” It worked fine for 3 1/2 months, then quit working, with an error message that the operating system was bad. I contacted HP warranty dept. & learned that the warranty expired in June, 2022, just 3 months after I bought it on Amazon. Thus, it was originally purchased by the seller or some other party in June, 2021, but sold to me on Amazon as “new” in March, 2022. When I contacted Amazon to return it, I was informed that I would have to pay a “restocking fee” since I was returning it after 30 days. Of course it will not be restocked since it is defective, and furthermore, it was sold as a “New” laptop which was not new. After several weeks of haggling with Amazon by chat, I was finally assured that I would receive my full refund (a “courtesy refund”). I believe a seller of an item with a factory warranty should be required by Amazon to disclose the status of the warranty in the item description to prospective buyers.

Hace 13 meses compre una laptop para mi uso personal, soy ama de casa y mi uso de la computadora es realmente básico, email y redes sociales…mientras la usaba la vomputadora arrojo un mensaje y dejo de funcionar, la lleve a revisar, me dijeron que podía ser la mother word y que debían pedir la pieza a HP, hoy me llamaron para avisarme que instalaron la pieza nueva y no pueden cargar el sistema operativo, ellos piensan que la computadora ya no tiwnw reparación, es increible pague casi $600 dolares por ella…
