It’s a very good computer for the money. I don’t like the location of the power button as it is right next to the delete button. The only other issue I see is that the backlit keyboard is very, very difficult to see. The backlit silver keys do not stand out as well visibly like black backlit keys do on other laptops. It’s actually more difficult to see than an unlit keyboard. It is too late to return it, but if I could I would get a different computer just because of the keyboard.

I like its processing power…I can put all my project management apps up at one and work with them with speed and accuracy. The screen is large enough for me to see all the participants in my ZOOM and WebEx meetings.
I have yet to use it with my recording equipment so I don’t know yet what I can produce with it.

The functioning of the laptop has been solid, once my Wife got acusstom to using a touch screen. Start upp is quick, screen image is great, and she loves the 17 inch screen. We have had this laptop just over two years and the top cover of the laptop is cracking where one of the hingers are mounted. The crack has grown to about three inches in length. It is most noticable when closing the laptop. I have looked to see if I could get some epoxy in the crack, then I thought I might be able to use my plastic welding gun on the inside of the cover to embed some stainless steel fine mesh. After reviewing a noumber of YouTube videos on disasslbly of this model I find that the manufacture uses a thin double sided tape that behaves like 3M’s command strips, where you can gently pull on one end releasing it from the two surfaces to remove the screen from the cover. HP wants about $54.00 for a roll of tape. Needless to say, I’m not thrilled with the crack, and not willing to tear this laptop apart. I’ll continue to search for a fix. This laptop did upgrade seamlessly from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
