This laptop is everything I needed. I was a little thrown off when the box arrived displaying 256 instead of 512 mb, but the seller did respond and directed me to small print on a label in the back which displayed the specs I had ordered. That could have gone a little more smoothly, but all in all it was resolved within 48 hours. I think that information should be conveyed up front, or displayed more prominently. Other than that little bump I am very pleased with performance. It was a great choice for my needs.

Coming from a much older Dell 17″ i7, this laptop is much lighter and quieter (lower heat and power). Performance is great, but I was disappointed that the HP warranty was expired BEFORE I received it! Seems like should be mentioned in the product description. I have not contacted the seller regarding their warranty (if any).
I had to update the wifi driver immediately to get decent throughput. I did use the HP assistant to update all drivers.
There is the normal amount of Crapware to uninstall (mostly HP).
I personally was not happy with Windows 11, specifically requiring creation of Microsoft accounts for users and trying to copy personal files to OneDrive (cloud storage) by default.

I bought this for my 22 yr.-old daughter, and she likes it a LOT !! It’s well worth it’s price (from what I know).

I’m quite happy with this laptop. I got it to replace a nearly decade old Windows 7 laptop. I got the highest spec 32GB 1TB model.
The laptop I received looked to be factory sealed, however, I do know it was opened to upgrade the RAM and hard drive. Inside was the laptop, AC charger, a USB A extension cable and a mousepad. There was also paperwork inside which mentions there was a three year warranty from the vendor covering the parts added (which was nice.)
The laptop is a nice upgrade, but it is a budget model. There’s no touch screen or disc drive, but these weren’t features I was looking for. The screen bezel is made of plastic and not metal, and the screen has a bit of flex to it, which isn’t great but really isn’t harmful either.
The keyboard is a bit clicky-clacky, but I like that, some may not. I’m not a huge fan of the trackpad, which lacks a right click and left click button, but it is what it is and I use a wireless mouse anyway.
Setup was quick and easy, I experienced no operating issues in the week I’ve had it thus far. I also like the fact that Windows 11 gives you the option to set it up in the same format as Windows 7, unlike 8/10. Battery life is good, it lasts about 6-8 hours on average with the web browsing and photo editing I primarily use it for.
