OK, I am happier now. My time frame was a bit faster than HP but they finally got around to getting back to me. I have the problem under control. I guess a fan duct was clogged and keeping temps up too high. It is a brand new computer and my existing computer hasn’t had such trouble, but this one is a bit zippier and maybe more susceptible to poor air circulation. So now I am happier and editing this original review.
And their digital assistant is a mind numbing time waster. When you have an account, this info is all in the system. So why torture the customer?
Well, I guess your supposed to feel like you are getting fast support.
It is approaching an hour waiting for their “best” technical support to message me back.
I don’t have a lot of experience with computer companies, usually products are pretty stable, but I am not personally happy with HP.

I was excited to purchase this computer as a Christmas gift. My husband opened the box and said it was too big. He put everything back in all the original packaging. You would never know the box had ever been opened. We shipped it back. They deducted $100. In the description before I purchased it showed full refund if returned.. When you read the ‘see more’ as I did today it said they could backcharge 15% if damaged or not properly sent back. I’ve never had this happened before. Lesson learned I will take photos before shipping back next time.
