Jedyne co mi się nie podoba to szybkość wydruku, jest bardzo wolna ale na domowe potrzeby wystarczająca. Jakość samej drukarki jak i wydruku bardzo dobra

You get what you paid for

The pictures that accompany this review are from a standard print of a RAW photograph from a Nikon D7500 on plain budget A4. I then zoom in to show what the pixel density is like. Bear in mind that Amazon reduce quality of images to save server space. The photograph when printed is quite good
I needed a printer for occasional use and had to have a small footprint. This one ticked the right boxes for me. I didn’t want an ink jet as I would have had issues with the cartridges drying up and going to waste so the laser jet was an ideal choice and thankfully this one isn’t some desk monster. Being wireless I was able to put it onto a shelf in my study and it doesn’t get in the way. It can hold a few hundred sheets of paper and the print quality is pretty good for what it is. I have printed out photographs on A4 standard paper and they are quite clean and crisp. It doesn’t look like it will take anything less than A4, but I haven’t looked that much into it as I only need A4 prints.

It initially I thought this was a simple cube, but you have to partially pull the paper tray out and this stays permanently stuck out. The wireless set up was a bit of a drag, not due to the printer but due to BT home hub. For some reason when I used the WPS button, my router was reset to a strange SSID and a password that was neither mine nor default. When I looked into it I found that it is a known issue with some BT hubs. I had to do a hard factory reset of the router. Once I was back up and running, I used the WPS option from within the web portal and I was connected. I haven’t used the HP software suite as quite frankly I don’t need it. Apparently, you can scan and print from their App, but I could do that with the default software on my phone which makes me think that it is a marketing con to make it look like the printer is also a scanner, which it isn’t. From Windows, I just use the native print options from within the package I am using. PDFs may need to be resized to fit page in the print options as they look like pictures to the printer and may be cut off on the edges.

Bottom line: for a laser jet it is small, reasonably priced, has good basic functions and an acceptable plain paper print quality.

EDIT. Paper tray can be closed back into the printer, but only when the tray is empty.
Also check consumable prices. Original parts are very expensive. Lack of 3rd party supplies, but they are sure to follow

Antes de esta impresora HP Color Laser 150nw, tenia en casa una impresora HP laserjet 1015 monocromo para las impresiones habituales y sencillas, y otra Epson de inyección de tinta de calidad fotográfica. Pero ambas impresoras ocupaban mucho espacio por lo que decidí comprarme una impresora laser y a color. Después de un pequeño examen de los modelos existentes me decidí por esta Color Laser 150nw, sobre todo porque el tamaño era perfecto para una estantería inferior de mi mesa. También porque HP es una acreditada Marca en impresoras y sus características eran adecuadas a mis necesidades. Después de un tiempo de uso suficiente, el resultado es este:
– Diseño: cuadrado y plano en la parte superior. Muy simple, pero practico.
– Velocidad de impresión: aceptable para el uso en casa.
– Instalación: rápida y sencilla. Si lees las instrucciones, no tienes ningún problema.
– Tamaño: excelente para ser laser y de color. Fue el elemento decisivo en la compra, además de otros detalles técnicos.
– Precio: tiene un precio muy equilibrado para la tecnología laser a color. Hay otras impresoras similares de otras marcas, que duplican o triplican el precio de esta.
– Calidad de la impresión (600×600): lo cierto es que es mas que aceptable, tanto en negro como en color, incluso imprimiendo fotos. (si no eres demasiado exigente).
Dentro de la parte negativa:
– Interruptores de control: Se sitúan en la parte plana lateral superior, que a mi personalmente no me es demasiado accesible por la ubicación en mi mesa. Pero quizás el problema mas grave que veo a medio-largo plazo es que los interruptores de control, son micro-ruptores que se encuentran cubiertos por un fina capa de plástico, y que sin duda con el tiempo y uso se romperá esa capa, dejando al descubierto los micro-ruptores. Deberían sustituir este sistema por uno de tipo “botones” clásicos.
– Impresión a doble cara: este es otro punto muy negativo, quizás el peor. La impresión “a doble cara” es muy complicada y falla mucho, sobre todo cuando es 1 sola hoja (suele atascarse), por lo que en lugar de ahorrar papel al final gastas mas papel. Si funciona bien cuando se trata de varias hojas (8 ó 16 hojas), quizás porque se ha enfriado mas el papel… pero cuando tengo que imprimir un billete electrónico de avión (me gusta llevarlo impreso) en una sola hoja…siempre falla. Otras impresoras -de la misma Marca HP- tienen una 2ª bandeja para introducir las hojas que deben imprimirse por la otra cara, o los sobres, o papeles para reutilizar por la cara libre y así reciclar, pero en este es MUY poco practico y complicado: hay que usar siempre la única bandeja de papel. Imaginaros si tienes que hacer impresiones a doble cara de documentos independientes, de una sola hoja cada documento: tardarás, estropearas mas papel, y te enfadaras….
– Cartuchos de tóner: no entiendo porque HP (la Marca de impresoras mas afamada) no vende sus cartuchos originales a menor precio. Los cartuchos de HP tienen un precio exageradamente caros, para su poca duración, por lo que rara vez he usado en casa cartuchos originales. Hoy en día hay cartuchos de tinta y de tóner perfectamente compatibles y de una buena calidad y a menos de la mitad de precio que los originales. y además hay empresas que reciclan los cartuchos de tóner vacíos, varias veces si su estado es bueno. Y por si este reciclaje fuera poco motivo para comprarlos de este tipo, contratan empleados con deficiencias físicas o psíquicas, por tanto siempre les apoyare.
