I use this everyday, for school, business etc. I keep it in a case. I have owned it about 2 months now and it disconnects from the microphone and internal speakers, makes a serious humming sound that is unbearable at times that I have to reboot several times to get to go off and then the next meeting it comes back. The keyboard cursor on this also jumps so much its not funny. When typing you are lucky to get a entire page typed without it jumping all over the screen. I type a lot when I am working on transcription assignments. My old Mac DID not do this. I am so upset I spent all this money and It is already giving me the blues, I cant get through zoom meetings, I cant connect to the internet, because it often loses connection and the internet in my home and on every other device works fine. The battery life is so so… it doesnt last very long and knowing what I know now. I would NOT have invested my money into this. It has been a true headache and it has gotten me way way behind on deadlines and interrupted almost EVERY meeting. Then in meetings I am often embarrassed because this is supposed to be the faster upgrade and im the one with the lagging on everything. From the skipping cursor to very weak internet signal and now the noise that this thing makes is horrid. It lasts sometimes for 15 minutes at a time even after shut down. It says version Windows 10 2004 version and that the check for updates is current. But im so pissed right now I want I full refund. I cant do my day to day activities or homework with this!

Great for the speed,4k,touchscreen, folding, and camera.
However it is extremely loud fan my entire classroom can hear it, also it lacks USB ports literally only has 1. You can’t have a mouse and flash drive unless you buy a multi USB USB. Also every time I start it I have to troubleshoot internet connection to reconnect. The keyboard is also uncomfortable. Wish I could change keyboard light color. Does what it needs to but could definitely improve.

What is not to love? The laptop came in a nice secure HP box so It wasn’t rattling around in the Amazon box during shipping. When I took It out of the box I found that it was nice and light weight (great for my arthritis in my hands and fibromyalgia). It was easy to set up as it walked you through everything, it is touch screen, has Cortana (basically Alexa on your computer). It has a nice charging cord with a strap to keep it all together when not in use. I love the option of the keyboard lighting up so if you need to do school work at night , or on the red eye flight you aren’t keeping everyone awake by needing a light on to see. Last but not least I love how it easily folds into a tablet!

Its a beauty..
The envy is such a great laptop with great looks and performance which is top notch. The speakers are amazing, the screen resolution is ok with lower nits you dont get a very good screen quality.
I have to mention the thick hp bezel at the bottom which is a bit annoying, had no idea that this model was a costco special release. All in all performance, build quality is great if the screen res and bezel doesnt affect you…go for it
