Spent months looking and contemplating a new laptop. I finally settled on this one and I don’t mean settled in a bad way! Based on screen size and specs this is a great buy. The battery doesnt last as long as stated not sure if that is a HP problem. Laptop was upgraded. The wireless mouse that came with it is so-so. Doesn’t work the best on certain mousepads been trying to figure out which kinds is best for it. Sometimes there is some latency when opening programs from my actual computer.
Pros: great screen size, 16 GB RAM is good for programming — running python, R, and visualization packages. Also works great with second monitor (purchased separately) — I have an Asus M168B monitor. Charges fast.
Cons: wireless mouse and battery could be better.

I purchased this laptop new. recevied it on time. very light weight and fast. had an issue with the mouse. contacted the supplier and they replied the same day. turns out i have no clue how to work a wirelesss mouse. they instructed on what i should do; it worked. overrall, its a very good product.

It stopped working on the 6th day that I turned it on. Refund process was painless. The computer was awesome before that. I just returned it instead of taking it to someone to look at it. May have been something minor, I’ll never know.

I have loved HP since the beginning. The Pavilion laptops are my favorite. Bought this Flagship for size and cost. Awful. I can’t see- I work in a school not the outdoors. The battery dies quickly if not plugged in. The keyboard is awkward to type on. I HATE Windows 11! Already getting a different laptop to avoid eye strain. It has only 220 Nits and that is why it is so dim. Least favorite HP.
