The oven is value for money and works well, except for 1 point. The panel is not sensitive enough. It shouldn’t be labelled as touch panel, but push panel. And yes, the customer service is pathetic. Followed up multiple times for online warranty registration, but no response from past 10 days now

The inner light of the microwave is not working from day one. The matter was reported to the service centre and the guy who came told us that the bulb is fuse . He assured us that he will come back with the new bulb and replace it. But as of now more than 15 days have lapsed and he has not come back. He also assured us that when he will come to replace the bulb he will give us demo also on that day as he is not feeling well.
So, I request you to please look into the said matter and do the needful at the earliest.

We got the product on 20 th Jan 2017 and not its almost 2021. been 4 years of using it. This machine has lasted through thick and thin. But make sure to take the extended warranty . our machine went kaput for a few times. twice the controller got fried. AMC from IFB is best. one hack. do not buy AMC while product is running. once the machine goes bust buy an AMC. there is a cooling period of around 14 days after you buy the AMC b4you can claim free repair. Adjust with no microwave for a few days and then it will be repaired free of cost.
Cheers. Makes everything from chicken to rice to everything possible.

But we got with it free microwave safe bowl that lie
Bowl melt from below when do popcorn for second time back to back.

Amazon doesn’t send anyone for installing as it is ready to use as mentioned…. but in order to activate warranty of this product you have to register with IFB who then sends a “salesperson”…. he literally does nothing for the installing purpose but convinces you to buy IFB brand voltage regulator, using other brands doesn’t guarantee safety of the product according to them.
And most importantly IFB is not an indian brand but infact a chinese one.
I thought it was an indian brand and bought this oven..
Never buying ifb again.
As for the working of the oven it is fine for now ….but I don’t expect it to last for more than a year(salesman own words)

I am sorry to note that representative of IFB, Mr. Monoj collected Rs.1180/- from me on account of 3 years extended warranty but I have received message from IFB confirming only one year extended warranty.

I bought (I got this for Rs.8700/-) this product for my home in May 2017. As this was the first product from this brand (IFB) so I was not sure how it will perform. After buying it, I used it as much as I could and found no problem. Today (Oct 2020) when I cleaned the product from dust (not the first time, it’s a regular cleaning from time to time), it looks totally new. I am in love with the product and I also developed a huge trust for this Brand. If you are buying this product then go for it as it will last without any issue for a long time, until the particular item has the defect.

I ordered this 20bc4 microwave on 9-6-20 and it’s been scheduled on 16-06-20 but happily I got it on 13-06-20 …..now a tiny review on first impression ..,.looks so beautiful , received in one peace ( not broken nor dented ) didn’t grill, but reheat mutton with gravy directly from the fridge and I must say it’s magnetron is so powerful it heats up that stuff only in 15 seconds very hot . I will put in my further reviews on grilling, convection and combinations later on,one more thing I want to add is the touch pad ,it’s not very sensitive you have to push the pad button with little force ..and packing by IFB is not upto the mark ,……………see you soon
