Sorry. Confirmed it’s 8 in 1. Unit. Confirmed with IFB. DEALER. I MAN CAME DEMO TOLD US IT WON’T CHANGE TON. IT’S ONLY1. 5 TON. MORE OVER THERE IS NOTHING MENTION ON UNIT AS 8 IN 1. SORRY FOR THE TROUBLE caused by regarding this.

I bought this product based on reviews and features and find this a great buy. Couple of days now and I find the performance to be satisfactory. The installation was done very nicely by IFB Team- Suresh garu was very good. I would recommend a buy for this product.Definitely I would proudly say Made for india & Made in India.

Very good product..on time delivery.. free installation in 2 days..ifb odu stand costs you 1200 if required..cools 10*12 room in 10/15 min in normal mode but if you press super mode it cools room in 5min.. stabilizer needed as i got p1 error message during evening time due to low voltage so better to buy a good stabilizer.. Will write more about this after 2/3 month of usage…

There is a drawback in 2024 model AC….. It says AC is 4 way swing but it is only 2 way swing (up n down) the other 2 ways (left and right) are we have to manually set at the indoor unit swing panel….. There are 2 buttons in remote for 2 type of swings but other one will not work with remote we have to set manually at a direction for once, it cannot swing left to right…..
Other than that AC is good, cools faster….. Upto 150sqft room 1.5 ton AC is more than enough

Happy to say that the AC performance is good so far. IFB mostly promise the good quality products and also after sales service. The outdoor unit looks premium and also big but indoor unit is small and doesn’t look premium. IFB has to work on remote design. The buttons are tiny and hard. For old age people difficult to operate. Remote should be well designed with big buttons and larger display. Mostly all models are designed with both horizontal and vertical air flow swing. But for some models IFB disabled the horizontal air flow swing. Even the horizontal wings also can’t be adjusted for disabled models.
Pros:
1. Cooling is efficient
2. Dual inverter, copper condenser, Nano tek coating, Gold fin, fire proof air cooled PCBs, good quality painting on outdoor unit
3. Silent operation
4. Promising good warranty periods
Cons:
1. Indoor unit doesn’t look premium. It’s not like IFB standards
2. The remote is not easy to operate. Definitely IFB has to change it.
3. There is no protection is given to the copper condenser in the out door unit and also no cover is given at pipe connections.
4. Vertical swing is not covering wide range
5. Indoor unit air filters quality is upto the mark only
6. Installation and service engineers are not professional and mostly cheeting the customers.
IFB has to tie up with only the professional and trained engineers if they are really looking for quality delivery.
7. For some models only offering free 3m copper pipe. So this is additional cost.
