This dryer does the minimum it is supposed to do, but at a huge cost. I had purchased another of the same model 7 years back at half the cost and double the quality. But it is indispensable, so one has to bear the running expenses associated with it. The product, as usual with other buyers, was delivered quite damaged and dented but fortunately I was able to hammer and screw it back to shape (again because of the exceptionally thin sheet metal!) so didn’t raise a return request. This dryer has the most minimal number of parts and hence doesn’t require any frequent servicing, hence the company is encashing it’s USP here. Overall it was an expected bad purchase experience of a necessary (quality depleted) product. Hope anybody at IFB (most consumer non-centric company in the last 5 years or so in my experience) would read this review and ignore it as usual along with other reviews!

Wow what a product it is. Bought it a week back and it is working wonders for me. The clothes are 100% dry and that’s what I have loved about it. The menus are easy to toggle around and has no complications in using it. Thanks Flipkart for delivering such a wonderful product.

product is good and delivered on time. old clothes looks very much refreshed. ifb customer care did prompt service for installation.
one star less is for flipkart. there is no support for installation. we need to it ourselves.

This is the 2nd time I am purchasing the same product. I did purchase one 10 years back when my kids were young and it ran for 8 years. I discontinued it for the last two years once I got an integrated washer dryer which consumed much less power. I now went back to purchasing this a second time since the washer dryer could not handle the drying requirements in my household.
There is a stark difference in quality. The new dryer has a flimsier door, rusting drum and the lint filter does not look like it will last long. The plastics and printing on the panel looks very cheap.This is in contrast to the one I bought 10 years back which looked very sturdy overall and I never had many issues with it. It would just do its job – though it burnt a hole in my pocket when it came to power consumption.
I really wonder if this is a counterfeit product that has made it to the IFB supply chain. Glad that I paid only 13k for this dryer. It is not worth the 20k MRP. We now need to wait and see if this outlasts its 4 year warranty.

Product received in defective condition. The door doesn’t lock. Please avoid buying online. No one approached for installation. There is no clear communication from Flipkart. Better avoid.
